KC Opticians are an independent family owned opticians, which has the service to community at its heart. Hence, the name Kinson Community Opticians (KCO). Our Mission Statement is to provide great professional service at affordable prices and in a modern environment. We will not rush and compromise with your eye care.
KC Opticians are a family owned Opticians and are keen to provide an individually tailored service. This is strengthened by our ability to offer a wide range of lenses and frames from all respected manufacturers, encompassing the latest technology available. We also cater for contact lens wearers and use only authentic products from established international companies.
As professional Opticians, a wide range of products are available from all different brands and Manufacturers. Frame cases, lens cleaning sprays to spec chains, are available at reasonable prices. Dry Eye drops such as Systane and the latest remedy of Eyebag, are stocked together with contact lens cleaning and storage solutions.
All of our eye tests are carried out by one of our fully qualified Optometrists. During the eye test we will use a range of techniques to check your level of vision, the health of your eyes and the suitability of your glasses. We will tailor the eye test to your specific needs and undertake the most appropriate tests for you, but if you are aged 40 or over we will always carry out a test for Glaucoma.
Kinson Village and the surrounding areas are unique to Bournemouth and have some hidden gems which enrich its history and heritage. The community spirit is very strong and the area has been established for well over a thousand years. Ramesh Lal, Manager KC Opticians, has been working in the optical profession for a long time and wishes to partake in the local community.
