Our Kettering nursery is located in a large detached residential property on Scott Road in Kettering. I have been involved with childcare and education for many years, as a pre school supervisor, a child care tutor, a day nursery manager and as an Ofsted nursery inspector.
Throughout that, my ambition was to open a nursery of my own. Apple Tree Day Nursery, Kettering was the result, opening in 2002 and is a small, homely nursery. The staff have all been chosen for their caring dispositions and their ability to provide quality education.

Services
Apple Tree Day Nursery is a private nursery providing care and education for children in between the ages of 3 months and 5 years. The nursery is sited within a converted building to provide a bright, warm, homely but stimulating environment. The accommodation consists of a reception and office area, book corner, writing and mark making area and mathematical and computer area.
Apple Tree Day Nursery - Kettering is a private nursery providing care and education for children in between the ages of 18 months and five years. The nursery is situated on the ground floor of a large family home, and is bright and colourful providing a wide range of activities and experiences. The accomodation consists of a large activity room, a quiet room, and arts and crafts area and child sized toilet facilities.
All staff hold current Paediatric First Aid Certificates and are retrained every three years. At Apple Tree Day Nursery we work with children, parents, external agencies and the community to ensure the welfare and safety of children and give them the very best start in life.
The staff team are fully trained in safeguarding children on induction and their training is updated and our policies reviewed yearly or as legislation and/or advice is changed.

The nursery is open between the hours of 8.00am and 6.00pm Monday to Friday for 52 weeks of the year, closing only for Bank Holidays. Session fees include all snacks, drinks, meals and activities including Music Mark, outings and other extra-curricular experiences. Due to children's individual requirements, parents are asked to supply formula milk and their own preference of nappies as required.
My son has been attending the Appletree Burton Latimer nursery and they have been incredible. My son had some complex medical needs but the staff never shrunk away from the thought of looking after him. In fact they went above and beyond to receive training in how to care for him on a daily basis and in an emergency.

What a God send Apple Tree in Burton Latimer has been!
Our daughter started at 10 months old in the baby room and moved up to the 'big room' at the age of two. She has come on leaps and bounds in her early years development which is testament to the professionalism, effort and care given by the Apple Tree family.
We would FULLY RECOMMEND Apple Tree to any parent looking at childcare for their little one. It will be a sad day when our daughter has to leave here to commence her school years, but we believe Lesley and the team have laid the foundations to give her a solid start.
