Kidaroo Childcare is working towards being an accredited "Curiosity Approach" nursery. Our children are encouraged to explore learning through their environment without the limitations of traditional plastic toys. We believe that play should be expressive, explorational and of course messy. Our children are encouraged to make a mess, to enjoy the creative process and to come home covered in paint.
Our outside play area is always accessible. Tjhis huge area is a fantastic resource for our children ensuring that they always have space to run around, express themselves through energetic play and learn in the outdoors whatever the weather. We encourage our children to play bravely, by managing and taking risks, exploring the outdoor space, balancing, climbing and swinging.

Services
I joined the Kidaroo team over 13 years ago, I have been the manager here for 6 years. Over the years I have gained broad experience in working with with children aged Birth-5 years. During this time I have achieved my NVQ level 2 and 3, and my experience has allowed me to become a deputy manager of our setting.

All the staff at kidaroo are amazing. They always accommodate where needed. During covid they had all restrictions in place which made me feel safe taking my daughter to their setting. I have recommended friends with little ones and will continue to do so. Keep up the good work your all amazing :)

My little boy has been going this nursery for 3-4 months now and he absolutely loves it begs me to go everyday. He went to a different nursery before and was a struggle to get him there always crying etc. The staff are lovely very welcoming and always happy to help either face to face or on the telephone I would 100% recommended this nursery to anyone looking for their children and the cost for his place is very reasonable. Over all brilliant!!!!!!!

My 2 year old started at Kidaroo a couple of weeks ago having had a childminder since she was a baby. The move to a new setting with all new children and staff was really hard on her and she was very upset in the mornings but the staff at Kidaroo were amazing with settling her in. Two weeks on, she is already running in to the nursery without a backward glance at me. They were fantastic at re-assuring me after an upsetting drop off and they updated Tapestry with pictures and messages showing that she was having a lovely time after being so upset in the morning. The nursery is really lovely with

What an outstanding setting Kidaroo Childcare is, the staff are amazing with the children, it’s like home from home. My grandson goes here and he loves it, I’m kept up to date with everything he does, they post photo’s on Tapestry of the activities they do with him, I cannot recommend this setting enough, it’s absolutely amazing 😊

Both my son and daughter have been going to kidaroo since they were 1 years old. They absolutely love it. They update you on tapestry with photos of what they have been doing. Its also very secure and safe.
It is connected to a primary school which is a bonus if you need breakfast club or after school club.
The staff are all lovely and make sure the children are safe.
Definitely recommend this Nursery

Simply the best environment for little ones. The focus is on the child, not the curriculum. The child dictates their own learning at their own pace. Perfect. The atmosphere is busy but calm, happy and stress free. Staff are helpful, friendly and approachable; parents and carers are always welcome. Our little one has had a wonderful start on her learning journey. Thank you all!

Lovely place, supportive staff, great natural outdoor space and excellent approach to learning. My eldest enjoyed it and now his younger brother is there. This is perfect for letting the kids explore and develop in a way which suits them best. Wish their approach would follow through to beyond preschool age.

Fantastic setting with the most amazing, fun caring approachable staff. My son first went to Kidaroo when he was 2yrs old and loved every minute of being able to play outside in all weathers, coming home muddy and full of exciting stories. As a 6 year old he's just starting his 3rd term of breakfast club,he loves Kidaroo and the staff and is always happy when he's there..he thinks it's awesome and so do we !
