Each member of fully-trained staff will enthusiastically and successfully deliver the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum to your child. We encourage parents to sign into their Tapestry account to see their child's Learning Journal. This is maintained by our staff on a daily basis to record your child's progress and development throughout his or her time here.

I have never once doubted my decision that Yellow Star was the best place for my children. There is no reason I won't be sending my third child to the nursery! At Yellow Star, we understand that choosing a nursery can be daunting, but we aim for this important decision to be a positive and straightforward experience for you.
We will encourage children to explore their world, learn to use their imagination and express themselves. Our philosophy is that Yellow Star children should be confident, content, caring and sharing. We introduce social skills and help children to build relationships, through play. Our objective is to enhance the physical, emotional and educational development of Yellow Star children and encourage them to develop creative thinking.
We understand the importance of a healthy balanced diet for the physical and mental growth of our children. Our qualified cook prepares a healthy, nutritional and varied diet to all children within our care. Meals are carefully selected to provide a balance of all food groups. We would be pleased to discuss any dietary requirements that your child may have.
Our preschool teachers have many years of experience and are trained in early childhood education. They have created a successful way to plan and implement exciting but challenging activities for our preschoolers. We use the early years found stage curriculum to help us with planning and guide us on your child's academic levels and what areas of the curriculum your child needs to be focusing on.
