Within room 0-2, staff follow pre birth-three guidelines for all children's needs and interests. Services
The staff go over and above their duties to ensure that my daughter is happy and is meeting all aspects of the curriculum of excellence. They involve the children in decision making regarding topics to learn and incorporate this into learning needs. They review each individual every 3 months and take great time going over her development and any queries or questions we have as parents.
At stepping Stones we believe effective partnerships and positive relationship are crucial. Parents/carers are encouraged to work closely with staff to support children, parents and carers will be supported through difficult and sensitive circumstances, effectively working together giving children the best.
Staff working with children 0-3 follow Pre Birth to Three: Positive Outcomes for Scotland's Children and Families. Brain development is a main focus within the Pre Birth to Three as it has been discovered through extensive research that 90% of brain development takes place before the age of 3. We continually focus on the rights of the child in all we do.
