At Childcare Management Company we offer a range of professional learning and development courses which can be delivered both in-house and externally by our experienced trainers. These courses are aimed at refreshing and/or up-skilling staff knowledge. Courses can be tailored to meet the needs of each childcare establishment.
This national practice guidance sets the context for high quality Early Learning and Childcare as set out in the Children and Young People (Scotland) Act 2014. The guidance seeks to support practitioners in all settings and areas of Scotland who are delivering early learning and childcare. Enable environments to promote communication, creativity, curiosity and inquiry amongst young children.
Business sustainability, in essence, means the ability to continue. In relation to a childcare setting this would imply being able to continue delivering a service in a viable and quality orientated manner. It also considers two management systems that are essential for the management of a childcare setting including: occupancy monitoring and financial management.
As the Modern Apprenticeship requires a degree of written and numerical work we ask that you complete an essay along with a numeracy skills test and this will be completed as part of your Registration day. Subject to you meeting the criteria outlined, interviews will then be conducted. If you are successful you will be invited to attend a free 2 day Induction training program.
