Under the command of Brigadier Roy Urquhart (later to win fame at Arnhem), they became known within the Eighth Army as "Roy's Boys". After a very successful landing, they advanced rapidly. We would like to thank everyone who has supported The Keep Military Museum over the past 18 months. It has been a very difficult time for everyone.

Cheap to enter, and easy to spend hours here. Absolute tons of stuff and what a museum should be. It cost no more than £6 for two adults to enter, and it's deceptively huge. Tons of medals, tons of artifacts, a lift for wheelchair access, more than I could ever ask for with the price I paid. Not to mention an affordable gift shop that sells some very nice items at affordable prices, if not a steal.

Great museum of military history in Dorchester spread over four floors.
Fantastic views from the roof.
If you gift your admission your ticket is valid for 12 months so you can visit as many times as you like.
There is a small car park at the rear and a pay and display car park next to it.
The museum explains about the Devon and Dorset regiments from the past to the present.
It also tells about the First and Second World wars including the Boer war.
