The main hall in the pictured, was as stunning inside as it was from the outside (although I only had a peak in the reception) the second is the view from the cottage we stayed in, hidesaway. Stunning views all around, within the visitor book were lots of good walks, it's also a short walk from the monsal trail!

Welcoming, friendly and a beautiful location. We stayed in the Tractor Shed and it worked very well. There are some other cottages near by so if you want totally isolation or more privacy other cottages might be better, but we were warmed by the winter sun streaming into the cottage. It was warm over night too 😉.
Thank you for a clean and modern cottage 👍

We had our wedding here and it was fantastic. I think each part needs a separate review as different things deserve a different star rating but we would give it 5/5 overall.
The location and venue itself =5/5 it was amazing and gives some fantastic views, brilliant for the photos. The venue was grand looking and could not have asked for a better place to get married. The gardens are well kept and again make for good photos.
The service = 5/5, we dealt predominantly with Emily and she was brilliant from start to end. We pre paid for wedding guest drinks and won some on bespoke weddings, but on

These holiday let cottages are set to a very high standard with all mod cons and are very comfortable indeed. The views that you get as you look out of the panoramic windows is absolutely stunning. (A view to die for)
You can also arrange to get married at the Cressbrook Hall that has a special venue. Highly recommended.

Beautiful surroundings! Some of the rooms need a bit of modernising, and some windows in the rooms weren't up to standard- they let in the cold easily but the hall is magnificent to look at and the gardens are spectacular! There were some nice little perks in the cottage like selections of teas and the fire place. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There were a couple of events during our visit that included some of the lovely local community. The villages near are quaint with some fantastic little cafes. Would definitely return! It's a magnificent venue.

We were here for a wedding, rooms were a nice size and well kept. Drinks were horribly overpriced but it was a wedding. The food was tasty. The space we were in was okay and the staff were exemplary. Only downside was the smell from the toilets could become a little overpowering - I'm guessing it was because of the old pipework.

Truly a great place for your family events. Private, serene and comfortable. My brother had his wedding celebrated at the Cessbrook Hall and all of our family stayed here for a week. We truly enjoyed the nature surrounding Cressbrook hall, it's building and the fact that it is near great cafes and pubs. The area is also great for morning run or an afternoon walk by the river. Great experience! Highly recommended!
