Due to the current pandemic, the School Pennies 2 Pounds Savings Club is not running at the moment. You can still continue to save if you'd like to by setting up a standing order or making transfers into the account. Modeshift STARS is the national schools awards scheme that has been established to recognise schools that have demonstrated excellence in supporting cycling, walking and other forms of sustainable travel.

Our school encourages children to join in the major effort to increase levels of sustainable and active travel in order to improve their health and well-being. In light of all recent announcements, we would like remind you of the support available from the school nurse team. Their website is a useful resource for many parent/carer queries, and also contains information to support young people.
Services
Our Christian vision is for every member of our school family to 'shine' through a positive, nurturing environment underpinned by an enriched, inspiring curriculum that celebrates learning, fun and the wider achievements of all of our children and community. We promote excellence in everything we do, inspiring our children for life today, tomorrow and in the future to allow them to "live life in all its fullness."
There is also information on the kind of content which will be set. We will expect the remote learning to be accessed and submitted through Class Dojo. If any children/families are struggling with internet or devices, we will endeavour to lend devices, where possible, or help with internet connection through data sim cards or BT hotspots.
This helps to build up a close relationship between home and school - we want to have good links with all parents. If normal arrangements have to be altered (eg you are delayed or another person is collecting your child) please let us know. This avoids any confusion or upset. Places are available when booked via the school office.
As a school, we are very proud to have attained the Primary Careers Mark, in recognition of the work we do as a school, preparing our children for the world of work. Our lead teacher for careers is Mrs Aimee Christian and our link governor is Mrs Claire Reed.

All of our pupils, from EYFS to KS2, experience a wide range of visits from people in a variety of different careers - taking varied pathways, enabling them to learn about different options that are available to them.In KS2, children are able to ask questions and develop their understanding of each career.
What is the Pupil Premium Grant? The Pupil Premium Grant is allocated to children from low-income families who are, or have been, eligible for free school meals (FSM), within the last six years. The grant is also made available to support children of service personnel and those who are looked after by the local authority (LAC).
