Services
Check-in cannot be guaranteed until 4pm on the day of your arrival however, rooms are usually ready much earlier. If these spaces are occupied, we have another car park located 200 yards away - at an extra nightly charge. No, we do not have an electric vehicle charging point at this time, although it is something we are looking into.

They never cleaned the room for our 4night stay. We have two young kids so had more rubbish than the small bin could hold. We placed this into a carrier bag next to the bin and left it open (so they could tell it’s rubbish). When we got back, the bag was still there. We had to this be emptying our own extra rubbish daily.
The beds were never made for the duration of our stay.
As a family of 4, we need 5 towels(one for drying hands). On two occasions we were left with only 4 towels and we had to go to reception to ask for extra towels, also had to ask for extra toilet tissue one day

Booked on the day of arrival, this is cheap and available. Seaview room has nice sea view. Newly renovated bathroom is very clean though shower water is not very strong but warm enough. Washing basin drains very slowly. Bedsheets and curtains are old styled but sheets are clean. Hotel staff are really nice and have good smiles and helpful! There is snooker to play too!
But there is a tug shop / eating place operates overnights just opposite plus the pub just downstairs so noise is from both sides while you are sleeping! Hotel itself does have a smell, perhaps because the whole beach area has flies

Ok so this is a belated rating (33 years to be precise) but my school stayed in this hotel during a trip to Isle of Wight. None of the frills mattered to us, there was even a room with a sunken bath (is that still there?"
We had a cracking time and no one died. They even put on a leaving disco for us!

I had a lovely time here. But like all things there are pros and cons and I'm gonna start with pros. The staff were really nice and helpful and the room captured a really good viwe of the sea. everything there was neat and tidy. Now for the cons.In my friends room there was carpet in the bathroom and that is really disgusting

Will not be using this hotel again our room was filthy and had not been cleaned before our arrivel someone then went and cleaned our room but the spoons and cups were still dirty! It's very dated still and has a really weird smell through this hotel and rooms no slip mat in shower! I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone!
