InnerGame Hypnotherapy Bournemouth & Poole Area
Hi, I'm Sharon Snelgrove and I am a fully qualified Clinical Hypnotherapist, NLP Practitioner and Mind Factor Coach, based in Ferndown, Dorset. I believe everyone has the ability to make positive change in their life, whether improving sports performance, breaking habits, achieving career goals, overcoming fears, phobias or anxieties or simply increasing self-confidence.

Some of us just need a little help in unlocking the true potential that is within us all. Hypnotherapy and its many techniques and applications have been proven to help treat a wide variety of issues and have helped many people overcome their personal obstacles and challenges. At Inner Game Hypnotherapy I treat everyone as an individual with their own unique goals and requirements.
Services
Before training to become a hypnotherapist I spent 20 years working for a food wholesaler, my most recent position as a training manager. The role involved working with groups and individuals, tailoring and delivering training to meet the needs of the individual and the business, in many respects not vastly different from my role as a hypnotherapist.
Without realising it most people will have experienced hypnosis many times in their lives. It is a feeling of mental and physical calm and relaxation, where awareness is heightened and attention becomes more focused, leaving you open and more responsive to positive suggestions and ideas.

Your own experience may be one of feeling very relaxed and not wanting to move, feeling like you are floating, or just a feeling of numbness, however you experience it, it is unique to you and there is no right or wrong way to feel.
Hypnotherapy may be just the thing to help. Whether you need techniques to cope with exam nerves, breaking habits, overcoming fears or phobias, or boosting confidence, hypnotherapy is widely used to treat many different conditions. The list below gives an idea of some of the areas hypnotherapy can help with, this is by no means exhaustive.
As a participant in both team and individual sports, dynamic and static, I understand the impact the mental game can have, not only on our own performance but also that of our team mates.

I have experienced the effects internal dialogue and negative self-talk had on my own performance, as well as experiencing how the negativity of one team member can impact the whole team, through their behaviour and how they speak to them self and the rest of the team.

After many years of trying various other physios and the NHS to resolve an issue with shoulder and neck pain I visited Sharon. Finally I have relief from the pain and increased movement. Can't thank Sharon enough, and highly recommend!
