Linden Primary School
It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to the Linden Primary School website and thank you for taking an interest in our school. Here you will find a snapshot of life at Linden Primary School, as well as providing up to date information for our parents and pupils. Linden Primary School is situated in Gloucester City and we currently have 445 on roll from Reception through to Year 6.

As a school in the centre of the community, we pride ourselves on placing our children and their families at the heart of everything we do. Our school values to nurture, respect, inspire and achieve underpin all we do and the high expectations we have set for ourselves are reflected in our school ethos of 'Growing Together to Create Lifelong Learners.'
Services
We are very pleased to be able to offer our own in-house catering at the Lin-Diner with a menu that offers healthy options for all. Please take a look at our page dedicated to our prospective parents where you will find a virtual tour of our school, our prospectus and lots of other useful information.
Standard admission numbers for Linden Primary School is 30 per class. Children entering are normally admitted at the beginning of the academic year in which they reach their fifth birthday. Children are initially admitted on a part-time basis until they are ready to cope with all aspects of the whole school day.
We have a rare and exciting opportunity for an inspirational, highly motivated and committed practitioner to become our school Parent Support Adviser. Our 2-form entry school is a popular and aspirational city school in Gloucester, but it is not without its challenges. For the right person it offers a rewarding and exciting opportunity to help take forward our excellent team of enthusiastic and dedicated staff.
The Inclusion Team, under the guidance of our SENCo, Mrs M Matthews, has the remit of providing pastoral support in many areas. They encompass attendance, absence, punctuality, well-being, social care, family support, behaviour, SEND (Special Educational Needs & Disabilities) provision and signposting of additional services.
Pupils can arrive at school from 8.40am. At 8:45am all entrance doors are open. Reception and KS 1 parents can then take their children into class. Key Stage 2 children go in unaccompanied and start work on such things as spellings or tables. If you have a concern please speak to the adults on the door or the office staff.
