We are a family run business local to Horsham which has been servicing and repairing sewing machines for the last 55 years. We can service nearly all makes and models of sewing machines new and old, including Singer, Bernina, Janome, Jones, Viking Husqvarna, Elna, Brother, Pfaff and Toyota to name but a few and take great pride in the service we provide.
We are based in Horsham and cover surrounding areas including Roffey, Southwater, Barns Green, Warnham, Broadbridge Heath and Mannings Heath as well and many other areas of West Sussex, East Sussex and Surrey. It is important to keep your machine lubricated so it runs with ease.

Services
My father started working for Singer Sewing Machines in 1965 and retired in 1995 but still continued to service sewing machines from home. The skill, knowledge and enthusiasm that he obtained over these many years has been passed down through the family and we now have 3 generations that can service and repair your machines.
A service is a standard cost of 50.00. Any parts required will normally be charged at cost but we will contact you first if the part is expensive. Most services do not require any parts. You can drop/pick up your machine whenever is convenient to you. Wherever you are in the surrounding areas we are here to help.
Sewing machines tend to be items that can be left in attics and rarely used, used occasionally or constantly. The best way to keep your machine running well is to use it regularly and lubricate it every few months. If you continue to use it when it starts to sound particularly noisy or if you can smell burning you run the risk of causing some serious damage.
Silk thread is very fine and is great to use when sewing natural fibres such as silk or wool. It's ideal for tailoring as it is very strong and can withstand high temperatures. You can also use silk thread for basting and (when teamed with the correct needle) it won't leave unsightly holes in the fabric.
