Bailey's Court Primary School is a happy place, where children, staff and parents all work together to learn more about ourselves and the world around us. We hope you enjoy your visit to our website. We have arranged a number of dates for prospective new parents for next year's Reception intake to come and have a look around our school. These tours will start at 9.15am in the school hall - no booking is necessary.
Services
Your child should arrive at school between 8.45am - 8.55am. Children should walk straight into their classrooms where registers are taken at 9.00am and any child arriving after 9.00am will be recorded as late. The new guidelines are very specific that absence from school may only now be granted by the head teacher in 'exceptional' circumstances.
Since that date, schools have been allocated funding for children from families who are eligible for free school meals, 'looked-after' children and children from families with parents in the Armed Forces. The Pupil Premium is also paid on the basis of pupils who have been eligible for free school meals at any point in the last six years.
All South Gloucestershire maintained schools have a similar approach to meeting the needs of pupils with Special Educational Needs and are supported by the Local Authority to ensure that all pupils, regardless of their specific needs, make the best possible progress in school.
All schools are supported to be as inclusive as possible, with the needs of pupils with a Special Educational Need or Disability being met in a mainstream setting wherever possible, where families want this to happen.Who are the best people to talk to in this school about my child's difficulties with learning/special educational needs or disabilities (SEND)?

Bailey's Court Primary School has an identifying uniform. We believe that it encourages children to be neat and tidy for work; it fosters pride in the school; it prevents discrimination; it reduces arguements about clothes at home and it makes recognition of pupils easier. Please support us by ensuring that your child is wearing the full correct uniform at all times.
Welcome to the section of the website where you can find out more about the school's governors, and the work that we do. We have a dedicated team of governors at Bailey's Court who work with the Headteacher to decide upon the strategic direction of the school, monitor and review the school development plan and ensure that all of our children receive an excellent all-round education.
