Improvers Sailing Saturdays We are planning for three weekends in September coaching sessions aimed at new and existing members with some sailing experience who would like to improve their skills, gain confidence and have some fun with our on the water coaching. There will be a briefing at 12 pm to run through the objectives of each session followed at 1 pm by activities on the water.
A chance for new members (and any looking to join) to meet other members, see what we have on offer and ask any questions. However, whilst we have relaxed many of the current restrictions we have had in place we advise caution as the consequences of being in contact with a positive case still remain.

There is sufficient parking at the club if everyone parks considerately. Please park in the carpark on the left, just inside the club perimeter fence. In exceptional circumstances or where multiple events are taking place concurrently, please park in the overflow parking outside the fencing, alongside the road leading to the main top gate.
Provide and maintain a safe and adequate environment for all employees with regards to facilities and arrangements for their welfare at work. Issue disclaimers and notices required in order to obtain the necessary insurance policies, certificates and licences. Offer, where relevant, training for Club employees and members.
The morning series is either a 100 minute pursuit format with the first start at 10:30am or Class Handicap with a start of 11:00am. From early to late summer we host a Wednesday evening pursuit series with the first start at 6:15pm. We have a series of individual trophy events scheduled throughout the year forming an overall Club Championship Series.
The attached Race Officer Manual and Video will provide you with information about organising racing at the club. It is remarkably easy! To use the timer for Pursuit Racing. Whilst the guide shows the setup for the balcony the only difference when using the committee boat is the power source and connection.
