Bedford Integrative Health Centre
Bedford Integrative Health Centre (BIHC) offers comprehensive healthcare which aims to promote health and restore well-being. Here at BIHC we take a holistic approach, assessing and addressing all aspects of your health, both physical and emotional. This includes asking about your diet, lifestyle and stress levels, as well as your physical complaints and health-related goals.

While most patients will opt for one to one sessions with our qualified and experienced complementary healthcare practitioners, we also offer packages which combine a collaborative and multidisciplinary treatment approach, where two or more practitioners work together to provide the most suitable treatment plan for you.
Services
At Bedford Integrative Health Centre, our therapists take an interest in you as a whole person, considering all your health conditions, lifestyle, diet and exercise, and tailoring the treatment to best suit your needs. Our therapies include osteopathy, coaching, nutritional therapy, energy therapy, and Bach Flower Remedies.
We have a wide range of therapists at the clinic. We all work holistically taking account of the needs of the whole person: body, mind and emotions. When choosing a therapist at BIHC, you can be assured that all our practitioners have completed a high standard of professional training and are fully insured and appropriately registered.
My interest in hands-on therapy stems from my experience of osteopathy for my eldest when she was still a very young baby. The treatment she received was nothing short of miraculous (at least that's how it seemed to a first-time mum). At the time I was on maternity leave from my job as a council officer and contemplating a move to Belgium with my husband.
Maintaining a focus on preventative and synergistic healthcare solutions, rather than ill health management, I aim to draw from each of the fields I have trained in, in order to formulate a person-centred, integrated health plan for you.

Whilst patients usually come to see me for personalised plant based medical prescriptions to help alleviate ill health symptoms they are experiencing, my primary approach to treatment plans include providing the tools, guidance and support you may need. For longer-term effectiveness, this allows you to create your own more natural and nourishing lifestyle that your health will thrive in.
I am a Bach Foundation Registered Practitioner. I have completed an approved programme of education and assessment in the Bach Centre and am certified to use the remedies in professional practice. I work under the Bach Foundation Code of Practice and am fully insured.

Although there are many variations of flower remedies out there, I personally believe in using the remedies as originally intended and in line with the philosophies and wishes of Dr Bach.I am passionate about promoting bespoke mixes and involving my clients in their own treatment through self-empowering and detailed consultations, which allows for a more equal relationship between practitioner and client moving forward.

I've been seeing Sorrel for over 2 months now. Perrin Technique for CFS/ME. What I am impressed with is rewind therapy. I've had some bad experiences on the road and became a nervous passenger and driver. Rewind has helped me. I don't feel anxious in the car any more as a driver or as a passenger. Thank you Sorrel.

I booked an appointment to see Sorrel after increasing pain in the centre of my back. The pain was unlike anything I have experienced before; there wasn't a comfortable position I could find and sleeping was impossible. At 14 weeks pregnant I was desperate for sleep and pain relief! Sorrel made both happen. After one treatment the pain eased considerably and using the exercises she gave me for when it ceased up, I was able to sleep and move more normally. After 3 days I was back to normal and didn't need to attend again. I will most certainly be back if aches and pains return. I cannot recommend
