Ramsey Health Centre is committed to providing a high standard of medical care in a friendly, caring atmosphere.
We pride ourselves on the quality of care that we offer, and are always receptive to your ideas, suggestions and feedback. We work closely with our Patient Participation Group and Patient Representative Group to extend our services and listen to your comments. We work closely together as a team, and this website is designed to help you get the best out of the services that we offer.

Services
Our Practice Nurses, Practice Nurse Assistants and Healthcare Assistants have received specific training for various health needs. When making an appointment please tell us why you need your appointment and we will ensure you are booked with the most appropriate member of the team. The Patient Services Team has the difficult job of helping both patients and doctors.
To access all of our services you can speak to a member of our Patient Services Team either by telephone or in person. There is only one telephone number to remember - 01487 812611. If you are calling with a query about fit notes (also known as "sick notes"), prescription information or results, we deal with these queries between 10.00 am and 4.00 pm only.
Please bring your registration information to the Health Centre or collect the forms from the reception desk. You will be registered with the practice rather than an individual doctor. However, if you wish, you may express a preference to be registered with a specific doctor and we will record this on your registration form.
When we are closed overnight, at weekends and public holidays your call will automatically be transferred to the Out-of-Hours Service. Please call 01487 812611 and your call will be diverted. A doctor or nurse will answer your call, assess the problem and offer advice if appropriate.
You may then be asked either to go to the Emergency Care Centre at Hinchingbrooke or Doddington Hospital or wait for a doctor to visit you at your home or call an ambulance.Access to local NHS services is also available 08:00 to 20.00 every day through the Urgent Treatment Centre at City Care Centre, Thorpe Road, Peterborough, PE3 6DB.

These are the local standards set within this practice for the benefit of our patients. It is our job to give you treatment and advice. Following discussion with you, you will receive the most appropriate care, given by suitably qualified people. No care or treatment will be given without your informed consent.
