Stimulates healing by re-balancing the body's energy following the system of meridians according to ancient Chinese principles. Traditional Acupuncture is an ancient system of healthcare that originated in China whose use can be traced back some 2000 years. It is based on the principle that good health is dependent on the balance of our body's motivating energy called Qi (pronounced 'chi').
Hypnosis is a natural state of deep relaxation allowing the sub-conscious mind to open and make way for positive change. When we want to make a change within ourselves it can be difficult to let go of conditioned beliefs and feelings, which can prevent this. Hypnosis naturally relaxes and opens the subconscious mind to accepting the positive changes we want to make.
Osteopathy focuses on the diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal conditions. It is based on the principle that the well-being of an individual depends on the skeleton, muscles, ligaments, and connective tissues functioning smoothly together.
Osteopaths use physical manipulation, stretching and massage to increase the mobility of joints, relieve muscle tension, enhance the blood and nerve supply to tissues, and help your body's own healing mechanisms. We also offer advice on posture and exercise to aid recovery and prevent symptoms recurring.
