Royston Complementary Health Centre was established in 1997 based on the practice of Ian Collinge, an osteopath practicising in Royston since 1982. Since then it has established itself as the home of Complementary Health practitioners across a number of disciplines.

In 1999, RCHC Studio was established as a facility for teaching classes of therapies and exercises and currently runs a busy timetable of Yoga, Body Control Pilates, Tai Ch and, for mothers and infants, Baby Massage and Yoga.From the outset, the intention was to bring complementary therapies and exercises into the local area.

Stimulates healing by re-balancing the body's energy following the system of meridians according to ancient Chinese principles. Traditional Acupuncture is an ancient system of healthcare that originated in China whose use can be traced back some 2000 years. It is based on the principle that good health is dependent on the balance of our body's motivating energy called Qi (pronounced 'chi').
Hypnosis is a natural state of deep relaxation allowing the sub-conscious mind to open and make way for positive change. When we want to make a change within ourselves it can be difficult to let go of conditioned beliefs and feelings, which can prevent this. Hypnosis naturally relaxes and opens the subconscious mind to accepting the positive changes we want to make.
Osteopathy focuses on the diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal conditions. It is based on the principle that the well-being of an individual depends on the skeleton, muscles, ligaments, and connective tissues functioning smoothly together.

Osteopaths use physical manipulation, stretching and massage to increase the mobility of joints, relieve muscle tension, enhance the blood and nerve supply to tissues, and help your body's own healing mechanisms.We also offer advice on posture and exercise to aid recovery and prevent symptoms recurring.
Marc uses an holistic approach to recovery and fitness. Marc addresses lifestyle improvement, nutrition and developing well-being to help clients regain mobility, strength and confidence. Conditions worked with include diabetes, heart disease, high blood pressure and injury recovery. Treatment programmes are tailored to the needs of the individual.
It combines the use of postures known as asanas with breathing techniques called pryanama and relaxation methods to achieve harmony, balance and a general feeling of well-being. In addition, energy levels and the free flow of energy within the body can be improved through the practice of yoga. Most yoga classes are suitable for both men and women of all ages and abilities.
