We have a highly qualified manager, currently Level 7, who has many years experience within an early years setting. Supporting her is a staff team with a variety of expertise and all are Level 3. All permanent staff are first aid trained and one member of staff is specifically trained as a Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator.
We constantly review the training needs of our staff and access training as needed; as a result all of our staff have attended courses and workshops relevant to the needs of the group. As a group we are members of the Pre-School Learning Alliance which keeps us aware of any new thinking in the field of childcare and education.

Services
Our setting has three rooms, the third being a welcome new addition, a toilet area and a fully enclosed garden area. The children are able to move freely with staff based in each area. The quiet room contains the snack area with tables specifically for this purpose and a sink for hand washing. This room also contains the computer and skills area where children can access a wide variety of maths, puzzles and skills resources.
We are a term based pre-school and offer sessions from 08:00 to 16:00 Monday to Friday depending on demand. We recommend that children attend session lengths of at least two and a half hours twice a week to benefit from the experience. We are happy to accept government funding for both two and three year olds with no restriction of places available for them.

My son started at Noah’s ark in September and he absolutely loves it! There’s a wide variety of toys and input related to a theme. He starts school next year and I was impressed by how he is being prepared. They are frequently in the village hall, getting used to activities in that environment. There is flexibility in drop off and collection times which is really helpful! The staff are lovely and I am confident that he receives the best care!

Noah’s Ark have been absolutely amazing for my son! He has had the best time and has grown more and more confident over the year. Linda (the manager) was so helpful when we first started and her flexible approach to our son starting gradually and letting us choose which days he could attend really helped him to settle. The staff are kind, caring… and really create a unique experience for each child. As well as this, they provide such lovely experiences and the children are always bringing home lovely things they have made. Learning is made super fun ☺️ I can’t recommend

Both of my kids have been to Noah's Ark and have loved their time there. The preschool has both indoor and outdoor areas in which to play, investigate and learn. The children are given a dedicated key worker and each week have carefully planned out activities to ensure they are stimulated and have the opportunity to learn; all in a fun, relaxed environment. The preschool has many different toys and activities to match children's personalities and preferences. Staff record children's activities and achievements via an online portal, giving parents the ability to see what their child is experiencing

A hidden jem at the back of Stratton Park that I hadn't realised existed. So glad I found it. Both my daughters attended this fantastic preschool. It is a wonderful place for the children. They have plenty of spaces to play and learn and the adult support is amazing both for the children and the parents! Email response is so efficient, phone calls are prompt and messages are always clear and delivered in a timely manner. As well as happy children!
My eldest graduated in July and they did a performance of Grease, it was really excellent. So much hard work, care and attention goes into this place
