We are passionate carers dedicated to providing quality, one-to-one care in our warm, comfortable residential care home, a former manor house, surrounded by 9-acres of picturesque, landscaped gardens located in Speldhurst on the outskirts of Tunbridge Wells in Kent. Our residents are at the heart of everything we do, putting their comfort and independence first.

We pride ourselves on our family atmosphere and regular activities for our residents who need both long-term and short respite.

Birchwood is a fabulous house in a stunning setting. A former manor house, it still has the feel of a relaxed country house, enhanced by the beautiful 9-acres of landscaped gardens, which can be enjoyed all year round. Our communal rooms are all attractive and enjoy views onto the stunning gardens.

We have worked with Birchwood House for a number of years and it really is a fantastic care home! The home itself is stunning and has a warm, homely feel with fantastic gardens. We have also had the pleasure of working with the team at Birchwood House who are kind, caring and professional when looking after residents.
We can safely say that anyone who stays at Birchwood House will be extremely well looked after.

My sister has been a resident for a couple of months, and is very happy there.
The carers and managment are very helpful. I would recommend this rest home.
