Polhill Farm Shop
Polhill Farm Shop is an award winning food retailer situated within Polhill Garden Centre which is one of the largest garden centres in the south east of England. We specialise in locally sourced produce from the Kent area aiming to support independent farms and growers, having dealt with many for over 15 years.

The Shop specialises in cheeses, dairy produce, Dairy Ice cream and homemade Bread and cakes from a local Bakery. There is a substantial range of loose and pre-packed frozen products from vegetables, fruit, pies, pastries, fish and much more. 2 years ago we started to offer online groceries through Amazon and eBay which has been very successful.

Not a real farm shop and hardly any local veg. Super disappointed. Under the local fruit sign everything was from Brazil, New Zealand, Italy etc. Some great cheeses but otherwise mostly junk food. Garden centre was worth a visit.

Nice and big place. However, no access for people to go to farms or fields nearby. Restaurant area is nice, it just needs more private huts outside so more people can enjoy them without any prebookings. Need more heaters outside for dining outside in garden. For the price, their food quality is ordinary. Some young staff in restaurant are amazingly nice.

I visited The Polhill Farm Shop on 4th May and I purchased a few items.
One of the items was a Large Lamb and a Mint pie.
I was really looking forward to it but how disappointed I was.
I’m sure it was out of date although I did not check the packaging.
There was no taste except for a slight hint of mint. Honestly, it could only have had 3 pieces of lamb inside.
The pie cost £4.50 I’ll make my own in future
I emailed the shop as yet have not had a reply.

Easy to order, friendly staff, Petula is professional and the produce I have received is fresh, other than fruit and veg, their bakery, cakes and gluten free biscuits are delicious, I enjoy their sugar free biscuits too. Try their spices, full of taste.
Reasonable prices, and free delivery over £20.
Sally who delivers is friendly and helpful. Very happy with the service I receive.

Updated....the sea food stall is now OPEN as is the rest of the garden centre but there are long queues for entry to the garden department which has been kept separate from the food area with a different entrance point which is a excellent idea.
Excellent all round shopping. Always pop in when passing as its not really local to me but now find myself using the stores on a regular basis in the current climate. Farm shop is always well stocked and butchers is excellent, really good sausages. I often place my xmas order here. Fairly priced quality products. Staff professional, polite and attentive

Not as Kentish as I’d hoped, pretty generic shop stock although the bakery is local, the cheese didn’t appear to be. What was worth the journey was the butchers! Amazing! Great spicy sausage. And a bone so big it’s kept my dog busy for hours! So that gets it an extra point
