All our teachers are highly qualified and affiliated with reliable yoga institutions such as 'The British Wheel' and 'Yoga Alliance'. Our teachers' experience gives them an insight and understanding of people's bodies and individual needs whether physical or mental/emotional. Ryan discovered yoga in his late teens, after struggling with his own mental health, brought on after coming out as gay at 13, and facing adversity.

He was searching for something to help with the constant feeling of not belonging. The thing I love about yoga is that it can be so many things for so many people. I still remember going to my first yoga class over 20 years ago, not quite sure what to expect, but being totally. My calling to teach stems from a place of reverence at the wisdom stored within our bodies and a passion to meet people in this place.

Vinyasa Flow Yoga is a practice that moves the body in synchronisation with the breath. The word Vinyasa can translate as 'to place in a special way' - our sequences are carefully crafted to give you a full body and mind practice/release. The practice is physically challenging but there are always options for modifications and rest.
This class is based on the following formula: relaxation / breath work, warm up sequence, sun salutation, standing sequence, wind-down sequence and finishing with a well-deserve final relaxation, Savasana. This is suitable for all levels of experience, strength and flexibility as variations and modifications are offered.
Iyengar yoga is an in-depth study of the yoga poses (asanas) and breath work (pranayama). Particular attention is paid to alignment and the teacher adjusts the student so that he or she begins to work more deeply into each pose without injury or pain. Each pose is held for a length of time allowing the student to refine the pose and to find stability within the pose.
