At Broadgreen, we are committed to providing all children with learning opportunities to engage in history. We believe history fires the children's curiosity about the past in Britain and the wider world and plays an essential part in preparing us for living and working in the contemporary place.

At Broadgreen, pupils consider how the past influences the present, what past societies were like, how these societies organised their politics, and what beliefs and cultures influenced people's actions. As they do this, children develop a chronological framework for their knowledge of significant events and people.
Welcome to Broadgreen Primary School's website, we are proud to introduce our fabulous school. We offer a caring ethos and we are justifiably proud of all of our pupils. As an inclusive school we welcome children from the whole community to our happy environment where all pupils come to enjoy and achieve.
Here at Broadgreen Primary school we work to ensure that our whole school community can 'Succeed and Achieve Together' and so during periods of uncertainty it is important that all our pupils have equality of access to learning. Our Remote Learning provision is in place to support pupils and their families during this time.
Just wanted to let say that both Leanne and I really enjoyed our visit to your school on 02.04.14. The children were so well behaved and it was probably the best school visit we've done! All of the staff were so welcoming and helpful and it was a brilliant morning. Hopefully the children enjoyed it too!
We believe that British Values are implicit within everything we do here at Broadgreen Primary, through our work on democracy with the School Council, Liverpool School's Parliament, our Eco Team, through the range of topics we cover in our curriculum and within our whole school ethos.

We deliver P4C sessions which develop enquiring minds and encourage pupils to respect differing viewpoints, we are a Stonewall Champion school and we continually celebrate diversity through our curriculum and assemblies.Take a look at our Mission Statement and around our website to find out more about the way we promote these British Values, they are also included on our Curriculum Maps.

A very good primary school. The school has a nursery department and the staff are lovely and very friendly. The children all seem happy and content. The reception department really know their stuff. All the children are treated equally but the staff are very qualified to be able to pick up on any little problems that a child may have and they act on it. Both my children went to this school and I would definitely recommend it to other parents. The school even have a breakfast club and an after school club. This school is definitely worth looking into if you are thinking of sending your child there
