Hello, I'm Loretta and I teach classes on Tuesdays evenings in Ealing for all levels. I've been teaching Yoga in Ealing since 2008 in a very nice, quiet, spacious hall in Ealing W5. This Yoga class in Ealing is in a good position not far from Ealing Broadway, near to Perivale, Greenford, Acton and Hanwell.
It is convenient for public transport, and has a car park. At my classes you can leave the cares of the day behind and just let any tension roll off your shoulders. Then do some wonderful work to stretch and re-align your body. I'll help you progress and improve your postures and focus on your individual needs.

Member of CIMSPA (formerly the Register of Exercise Professionals) - Level 3 Yoga Teacher. I started coming to Loretta's class thinking it would be a way to ease away aches and pains. Now, many years later, I have not only learned how to keep stiffness and tension away, but I have learned about mindfulness and all the psychological benefits of yoga, which Loretta introduces gently into her classes.
Why Yoga and not the gym? The ancient science of Yoga has a holistic viewpoint of exercise. It is a 'work-in' rather than a work-out because postures are practiced with awareness and muscle tension is released. The mind is soothed, the body stretched and this gives the body a chance to turn on healing mechanisms.
There are plenty, but basically Yoga tones the muscles, strengthens and invigorates the whole system of the body and relaxes the mind and body. You will be encouraged to learn focus, mindfulness and positive thinking. Yoga is not competitive, postures can be moderated for you and you can have extra time to rest.

I’ve been coming to Loretta’s classes for 7 years. Loretta’s teaching style is warm and gentle, and we always enjoy a laugh or two along the way.
Beneath the good-humoured banter, Loretta challenges us to push ourselves. She encourages us to remain in each pose for a while, which helps relieve aches and stiffness and at the same time builds strength and flexibility. If anyone has a physical difficulty, Loretta adapts the poses to suit each ‘yogi’. The classes are well-structured, beginning and ending with a period of relaxation, and with a different focus each week, such as shoulders

BKS Iyengar writes in the Preface to his "Light on Yoga" " Yoga is a timeless pragmatic science evolved over thousands of years dealing with the physical, moral, mental and spiritual well-being of man (and woman) as a whole."
Loretta's achievement in the Tuesday evening sessions at St Peters is to address all four of these elements with great humour and humility. Of course, a major emphasis in an Iyengar based system is the physical - the exercise - the postures themselves. She is very good at coming around the class - encouraging and correcting as she goes. But each class is topped and tailed

I have moved from middle age into older age whilst coming to Lorettta's classes, but feel as if I have become younger in my body and wiser, calmer and more composed in my mind. Loretta subtly, persistently and warmly delivers the essence of yoga's great benefits without us even realising it is happening. The classes are enjoyable and challenging without being an ordeal at the end of a busy day. They leave me feeling in top condition in every way and the effect lasts for the next few days. Over time I have been able to improve aspects of my daily life practices using the ideas Loretta has taught
