Great welcome, bit of a climb ( not for anyone physically unfit or disabled). Recommend the restaurant and breakfast. Our room is a little tired and it may be worth checking the radiator (no16).

Stayed in 2019. Good location and close to the village. The location isn't suitable for someone with accessibility issues as its all up hill and there are alot of steps. I didn't get any help with carrying my bags to my room and I struggled with my bags up the stairs. My view wasn't great and I was greeted by builders in the morning. The bathroom was really small.
Overall great price and great location.

Love this place. Friendly. Has Happy hour 5pm until 7pm. Great views of the River. Sit & watch what's going up & down. What is not to like about it.

Nice breakfast and a good bar for the evening. The room was small but ok and the shower too small. No good if you have difficulty in walking as it is a steep frontage with plenty of steps.

Lovely hotel the owners was very accommodating nothing too much trouble, Very comfortable room well decorated & the bed was extremely comfortable. Breakfast was excellent choice. Such a lovely family run business. I would definitely return.

We had to late cancel due to a premature birth of a baby. River Croft refused any sort of refund or to defer our stay until a later date or even be willing to have a sensible conversation over the phone, the person we spoke to on the phone was very dismissive and short about the whole situation. Whilst I appreciate times are hard for hospitality, I would’ve thought RiverCroft might’ve shown some understand and flexibility seeing as they’ve charged us £130 anyway.

I would definitely go back to this nice hotel. It is clean and comfy, has all needed facilities. I was travelling with my toddler and it was absolutely gamily friendly. It has a fantastic view to the river and every night I enjoyed watching the sunset right infront of me. The breakfast was absolutely lovely, we had lots of options and the staff were kind, friendly and helpful.

Lovely hotel in an ideal location. A bit dated but everything you need and it's very clean. There's steps and ramps leading to the hotel entrance and no lift inside so if you have poor mobility then it's not ideal. Friendly and attentive staff. Having breakfast overlooking the estuary was lovely on the glorious summer mornings we had. I look forward to staying again.
