Had a booking confirmed, both from booking.com and emails from the hotel and hotel has taken a deposit. 4 weeks before arrival the hotel cancels without warning stating booking.com hadn't updated my booking which is a blatant lie as I've been in contact directly with the hotel several times over the past few months. So disappointed at being treated this way - no apology and still have not received deposit back. Clearly customer satisfaction is not a priority for this hotel. Such a shame.

Beautifully renovated Victorian era house. Everything from the restaurant to the lobby and the rooms strike a perfect balance between comfortable and modern. The rooms were cozy and elegant. The staff was lovely, very friendly and very helpful. The restaurant was also great, with modern dishes that were simple yet perfectly prepared. The only downside was the noise from the street especially at night with the seagulls..

Boutiquey(?) and stylish, great views if you are near the river end of the restaurant.
Dinner 2 courses £27.50, friendly place, good for a party.
No children under 12 at Dinner, ok for lunch.
I go there when I'm in Cornwall.
Perhaps not the polish or fine food of The Marina, but less expensive and good atmoshere friday and sat all year, most nights in summer.
Lunch on their own 'quay' in the summer takes some beating, lighter lunch options.
