Abacus Day Nursery is an Ofsted outstanding day nursery and pre-school in Brislington, Bristol. Opening in 1996 it is one of Bristol's longstanding family run nursery and pre-school. We cater for children from birth to five years old between the hours of 8am and 6pm from Monday to Friday. We also have the luxury of offering term time only or all year round sessions to meet the needs of parents.

Services
As part of our childcare program, we encourage your child to learn though play. Play helps young children to learn and develop through doing and talking, which research has shown to be the means by which young children learn to think. At Abacus Day Nursery we offer the following sessions on an all year round basis or term time only basis.

Yep my little one has just left abacus to go to school. She was at abacus for 4yrs and from the very first day we were both given the best of care. I hated leaving her in the early days, to go to work, but the girls were so good with her,they made it so easy. If I was worried I could call at any time, but to be honest within the week she had… settled and it was obvious she loved going. That made such a big difference and made it so much easier knowing I could call and they wouldn't think I was just a 'clingy' mum! The girls helped with all the hard stuff- potty training, ditching the dummy

My youngest child has just left Abacus Day Nursery in Bristol as he is now due to start school, and I just wanted to express how happy I have been with the nursery itself and all the staff who have helped to look after my children whilst in their care. Both my children have attended the nursery in some capacity since the age of about a year, and… have loved their time there. The nursery provides a stimulating, fun-filled environment that feels completely safe and comfortable for the children.
