Had a wonderful lunch for two. Warm welcome on arrival. Lovely decor. Great choice on menu and food excellent. Well presented and flavoursome. Located just outside of the Town of Oundle in beautiful surrounding countryside, with the added bonus of Alpacas at the end of the play area and garden - Great for the children.

Absolutely beautiful meal, from start to finish. I had the Lasagne, fresh ingredients, flavoursome beef and lovely verdi lasagne with tasty garlic bread and salad. Loved to see Affogato as a dessert option on the menu, fun and delicious. My husband said his meat pie was as good as his nans (& she was a brilliant cook) and mum in law had the Haddock Mourne that she loved. Friendly and efficient staff, inviting venue. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We stayed in one of the rooms at the rear of the pub and from the moment we walked in through the door we were made to feel at home! Fran was exceptional, as was the food!! cooked by her Husband. We have never felt so at home whilst staying away.
All the staff were friendly and happy to help! Even Dylan who worked in the kitchen, helped by giving me a lift to collect my car from neighbouring Oundle.
A big thumbs up to all
Definitely a place to visit great Beer, Exceptional food and amazing Staff
