I went to Edinburgh in February to improve my english for my new job in Italy. It was an amazing experience for me, Edinburgh is a beautiful city (Marc, I use beautiful not like in italian but because I really think that Edinburgh is amazing!) and in Inlingua I found such friendly people that I can't forget them!
Our accredited evening classes offer a fast, enjoyable and effective way to improve your English language skills. The 10-week evening language classes allow you to cover the same material as the other courses over a longer period of time. This is an excellent option for those who have long term learning goals or for students who are working during the day.

I had really enjoyed my time at Inlingua Edinburgh. The teachers are so kind! I was so positive surprised when the teacher Wendy brought me some grossery and a puzzlebook when I was staying in isolation in a hotel for 10 days, because I was tested positive of covid. Really really kind!! Very personal!

I've been learning Japanese at Inlingua for almost three years now and it's a wonderful place to learn. The staff are always very friendly and helpful, responding to any queries or emails as soon as possible. The teacher is very knowledgeable and makes each lesson interesting and rewarding, I leave every week thinking about how much more I'd like to learn.

I have been taking group evening classes in Beginner's Japanese with Inlingua for the past two years. The team are incredibly friendly and helpful; accommodating online attendance during Covid lockdowns and a hybrid model as restrictions eased. The group size is small so you get plenty of 1:1 time with the teachers, lots of speaking practice and my class group is very sociable. Miho our Japanese teacher is excellent; very friendly, patient with our mistakes and willing to bring in additional material to clarify points when we ask off-topic questions. Highly recommended for beginners in foreign

I’ve been taking one-to-one Spanish lessons (one hour a week) with Inlingua online since January 2021. It’s been an amazing experience and I can’t quite believe how much progress I’ve made, from total beginner at the start. My teacher, Maria, is BRILLIANT - honestly I think the best language teacher I’ve ever had (I did French at school, and have taken a year of Japanese, a semester of German and some Mandarin classes previously.
I was apprehensive about online learning, but you get used to it quickly and Maria’s relaxed, easygoing nature quickly helped me overcome my ingrained nervousness

I stayed at the language school "Inlingua" in Edinburgh for two months, where I had a great time even during Covid19. The teachers are very motivated to enhance your language and bring in an enormous effort to help every single student. I always had the opportunity to ask for additional help and material to improve my language skills. Additionally we always had really interesting discussions about a huge variety of social, political and cultural topics during class. I took a few private lessons for German before going over to meet my girlfriend's family for the first time. My teacher was a lovely woman called Laura, who helped me to feel at ease with helping me at my own pace and not pushing to far to fast. I would definitely consider more lessons in the future.

I was on a one-week Erasmus Plus Teacher Training course and I strongly recommend this school. The classes they offer are beyond expectations. Language classes, methodology classes and cultural programme are very well prepared and run by expert teachers. I had the pleasure of participating in classes with Marc, Mark, Phil and Greg. The whole staff is friendly and helpful. It's a pity I couldn't sign up for a two-week course.

I attended a one-week Teacher training course in inlingua Edinburgh Language School and it was really awesome. The omnipresent friendliness and willingness to help was something I had never met before. The lessons and the afternoon activities were full of new information for me. One week there was not enough! This school is very central, staff is super nice and very accommodating. I took a few private lessons to prepare my CPE and it was great to be able to meet when it suited me and focus on my specific needs. I passed with flying colours and I can only thank the inLingua team for their help and support!

Fantastic school in the center of beautiful Edinburgh. For teachers, beneficiaries of the Erasmus + program, but also for all who would like to polish their English. Friendly, competent teachers who encouraged me to learn more.The school offers a rich program accompanying the classes, from visits to museums to visits to the pubs. Would love to come back one day.

Inlingua is a great school where you meet a lot of interesting people you can hang out with, and the teachers there are very welcoming and you will see your English improve greatly. I’m from Sweden and had decent level in English, I still learned a lot at this school and would gladly return!

My two months with Inlingua Edinburgh were incredible, and this as much from an academic point of view with the Cambridge Proficiency Exam preparation as for the social aspect of a trip abroad.
The lovely staff and teachers make you feel welcome and create an ideal atmosphere to learn and improve your level of English. The general English lessons in the mornings are a great way to practice your speech.
Having passed the exam Inlingua helped me prepare for, I can say I’m completely satisfied by the outcome of my stay in Scotland and would totally recommend it!

A few weeks ago I attended a Erasmus+ Teacher Training Course at inlingua Edinburgh. It was everything I hoped it would be and more. Meeting teachers from different European countries and exchanging ideas with them was just great. The course covered a wide varity of different teaching methods and gave me lots of new ideas I will love to try with my students. Our trainers were well-versed in modern language teaching, such fun it be in their classes. The cultural programme was simply excellent. We came to know a lot about Edinburgh and Scotland, its history and present. And: don't miss the Whisky
