Founded back in 1960 in Churchdown village, we are a family-run business with compassion and kindness at its heart. In 1966, we purchased the funeral director's firm "Wilkes Funeral Services of Hucclecote" in Gloucestershire. Two years later, due to the redesign of the centre of Hucclecote by the local council, the original building was demolished, and new premises opened in 1970, which is still the same place we call home today!
We are proud to be renowned for our bespoke and personal service. Available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, we can easily be contacted by email and phone. Arrangements can also be made to collect and bring your loved one into our care from anywhere in the UK or abroad. We have a tranquil and private chapel of rest available to you and your family.

I'm very proud of them as a company as they have done such a wonderful job of conducting funerals of my family members and friends. Graham Cocks, the owner and the main funeral director is someone I have high regards for.
The person whom is legally appointed to settle the estate of the person who has passed away. An individual that carries or helps to transport the coffin through the stages of the funeral. An organisation that can provide financial support and help with funeral cost to those who will be left or are currently in financial hardship.
At S.C and B.S Cocks we are extremely proud of our fleet. We offer a range of Mercedes vehicles all of which have been designed to cater to the requirements of your funeral arrangements and to offer maximum comfort. Our fleet includes cars that are fully air-conditioned and can seat up to 7 people excluding the driver.
