Zeiss Opticians has been run by the Barke family since 1985. Under the guidance of Basil Barke, Alan's father, Zeiss Opticians was established in Tewkesbury in 1985 and Stratford upon Avon in 1995 with the collaboration of ZEISS Germany. The goal was to provide exclusively ZEISS product using the most advanced technology of its time, to conduct the best eye examination possible.
LINDBERG are a Danish eyewear manufacturer offering glasses, sunglasses and fashion frames for men, women and children, that specialise in lightweight titanium frames. With many frames designs, as well as custom fitting, multiple colour options, and multiple lens shapes, LINDBERG's innovation eyewear system makes it possible to put together unique personal frames to suit the wearer in terms of every design aspect.
ZEISS is a pioneer in the field of freeform technology. ZEISS has been using freeform technologies in the production of progressive lenses since the mid-1980s. The entire range of ZEISS progressive lenses has been produced with freeform technology since 2009. The advanced freeform technology ensures a highly accurate calculation and surfacing of the lens design.

The folk at the shop couldn't have been more helpful, they helped with new lenses, they spent ages to source frames for me along with several other alternative frames, nothing was too much trouble. They even fixed my wife's damaged frame and wouldn't charge!
