Good location, staff is friendly, though the staff in the dining area needs to be further trained. Gives you the pulse of the city with very good restaurants within walking distance and the convention center proximity, even under covid protocols access to an array of things to do. Rooms are a little stark but the suite we reside in was modern clean and had a great view of the center. Good for business meetings n a small or large scale(s)

All staff from receptionists to housekeepers, bar staff and waiters were friendly, professional and helpful. There was at least one hand sanitising station in each public area. Checking in and out was painless.
When booking online I left a note asking for a room far from the street noise, which they were happy to give us.
Our bathroom flooded due to a blocked shower drain one day, but my boyfriend mentioned it to the receptionist on the way out and by the time he got back there was already a maintenance team clearing the drain and giving us clean towels etc, which was great. There were no other

Fantastic stay at this beautiful hotel! We stayed as a couple to celebrate my hubby’s 50th birthday, the staff cannot be faulted on their service (the whole team), the place is spotlessly clean, room beautiful, spacious and very well equipped with lovely views of the city from the balcony. The breakfast was varied and delicious. The snug room and bar had a lovely atmosphere. We’ll certainly be back.

Beautiful hotel and great location, with a very convenient discounted parking at the Q Park parking facility nearby. We had a great stay and will return at the first opportunity. The only comment is that although they had all the in-house services available (like laundry, daily housekeeping, turndown service and room service), they for some reason they didn't bring back the shoe-shine service. They said its because of Covid restrictions, but I still don't get it. Hopefully they'll reconsider as it would be good to have this service available considering the usual wet weather in Edinburgh and needing

My husband and I were treated to a Picnic Tea and we were absolutely delighted with the service, food and cocktails. Every member of staff went above and beyond their duty, including the Manager to make our visit, very special. We highly recommend it and will most certainly return at some point! Many thanks again. We had an amazing stay with the Glasshouse in Edinburgh. Booked last minute due to a cancellation elsewhere, they were very accommodating, upgraded us to a room with an amazing view on the terrace. We really liked their bar, which had a nice chilled atmosphere. Would highly recommend them and we will certainly be staying again next time we are in Edinburgh!

During our stay we received poor service from an front desk agent J***e. She was non-committal about every question we had pertaining to COVID. We were traveling from the US and wanted help but she seemed not to care. We were told to leave our bags (our room wasn't ready as we arrived early) in an unsecure closest. We literally walked in there unattended with many other guests luggage sitting out. The guest room bathroom was dirty, specifically the presence of hair. The closet next to the bed had a blinking light inside of it, since the doors are glass it woke my wife up in the middle of the night

Was walked from the grand Sheraton and to be honest I was a bit upset because I was looking forward to my room with a view of the castle. but The Glasshouse is really amazing. quiet and nice. rooms are updated… and accommodating. staff are extremely polite and helpful. I feel very welcome. feels like my home away from home in the states. breakfast is to die for as well.
