The most difficult thing was choosing somewere for my dad,he was already in a home ,but they said they couldnt manage him, after we contacting barrowhill they assessed dad;and agreed to take him and i can honestly say my dad has never looked happier,or healthier it was the best thing that happened to him he shows no behaviours like before and i… believe its down to the kindness professionalism and care and fun he has and everyone always going the extra mile, his dementia has only got slightly worse over the year and half he has been there . he thinks he is on holiday sometimes, you have made

Barrowhill Hall gave my mum a loving home for the last years of her long life. The staff cared for her (and us) with kindness and professionalism. I have no hesitation in recommending Barrowhill Hall.

Absolutely wonderful care for very vulnerable people, nothing is too much or too little.
Sheila always wanted to have neighbours and friends of her own age who she could go out and have a little bit of fun with.
Sheila has a son Tim and three grandchildren, Katie, Olivia and Jack, Sheila also has one great granddaughter Amiyah.
Sheila is very much full of fun and has always had a wonderful sense of humour.

I have recently been visiting Churnet Lodge when residents have passed away. I can wholly say that the passing has been handled with the utmost respect and dignity towards the families affected. The staff were visibly upset but carried on with complete professionalism. Hats off to you all.

I looked at a dozen homes in the area to find a suitable place for my Mum who was relocating from Lincolnshire to be near to me. Barrowhill was one of 2 homes that stood head and shoulders above the rest. Mum has been at Barrowhill for 2 months now and I am more than happy with my choice.
