Services
If you would like to visit the Home or require any further information, we will be pleased to assist you. You will eventually reach a roundabout with a Macdonalds fast food restaurant/drive thru situated on the right hand side of the dual carriageway. Go straight over the roundabout, continue past Bradwell Hospital situated on the right side of the dual carriageway, up towards a set of traffic lights (on the brow of a hill).
Set amongst 4 acres of landscaped gardens, our five wings are home to residents who live with others requiring similar care. From minimum personal care through to extra medical staff and equipment to support those with dementia, each family is safe, secure and comfortable. We believe that any person moving into a care home should be able to continue with a normal independent life as far as possible.
Our in-house chef prepares dishes that are healthy and delicious with input from a nutritionist. A mix of both new and classic favourites, we make sure there are choices at every meal and even then, if any of our residents don't like what's on offer, we will still cater for them individually. Fresh fruit, juices, cereals, a hot buffet of toast, beans, tomato, cheese, oatcakes and a fully cooked breakfast offered at weekends.
Friends and family are welcome to visit our residents at any time. We don't place any restrictions on visiting times or days because we believe that seeing friends and family when you please is a crucial part of a happy, independent life. Pets are also welcome, though we do request that they're well trained.
It comes as no surprise that we have a thorough selection procedure to ensure our staff members are of the highest calibre. Each member of our team is heavily referenced and must possess the sunny disposition that makes them pleasant, polite and able to build friendly rapport with residents in the long-term.

My grandad has been moved from hospital and onto Sneyd at Bradwell. The staff are absolutely amazing! Always happy to chat with family and comfort us on more difficult days. Grandads care has been amazing. Always a happy staff member to assist grandad and go out of their way to help. Grandad is always clean shaven with fresh clothing and bedding. The food looks amazing with brilliant portion sizes and second helpings if requested. I cannot understand the bad reviews that I've seen? Rooms are basic but staff encourage family to take in personal items and furniture to make it homely. Highly recommended

My Dad Ernie was admitted to Bradwell Hall last week. I was so worried because I had worked in nursing homes myself and Knew some staff I had worked with were not like myself, careing. I can not praise the staff and care enough. All staff go out of their way to make sure each individual is looked and cared for in EVERY way.The food is excellent and to put it in a few words....it's more like a hotel. THANK YOU all. My mum had been in the care system since 2013 due to Dementia and after a few bad experiences in a previous care home, and an admission to hospital, my mum was moved to Bradwell Hall November 2018. I couldn't believe the difference between to two homes. All the staff at Bradwell were professional, very friendly, nothing seemed too much trouble and I was always kept informed of my mum's condition. Sadly my mum passed away but I can not thank the management and staff on the Keele Unit enough for the way the they saw to my mum's needs and even looked after me and family members at such a distressing

I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Poor basic care more agency staff then permanent staff. Food is disgusting not well presented. No interaction with my mum staff just sit there don't even speak 121 care what a joke. Unexplained bruising the list goes on. Made so many safeguarding referrals it's sickening the poor standard of care my mum has had to put up with. Well it's been month's of heartbreak but today I have moved my mum to another nursing home. Thank GOD!!!

My father is a resident at Bradwell Hall Nursing Home, Sneyd Wing.
We have total confidence in the care supplied by the Home. The staff have always shown kindness, sensitivity and respect to both my dad's and our families needs.
When there has been ‘concerns’ regarding his health, the staff have always acted swiftly to address and resolve these concerns and as a family we have always been fully informed from the outset.
The palliative care he is receiving has ensured that his quality of life is maintained by relieving any discomfort or distress. In fact we believe, as a family, that my dad

In four words "should.be shut down". My father spent 9 weeks in Sneyd wing of Bradwell hall and me and my family have not got a good word to say about the place. We wouldn't board a dog there. It was filthy and so in need of a face lift it was unreal. Apart from a few caring staff which we couldn't fault the care my father received was inadequate and not even second rate. It was supposed to be a wing for dementia sufferers and I don't think one member of staff had adequate training to deal with dementia sufferers. We had instances of numerous falls which were not reported to us, my father was dirty
