Springbank Nursing Home is fully registered and accredited with the Care Quality Commission and the local councils to provide nursing care to adults.
There is at least one registered nurse on the premises at all times who is supported by a strong team of experienced carers. All employees are fully checked with the Criminal Records Bureau, and all of our care staff complete a comprehensive induction programme and receive on-going training through a recognised nationally accredited agency.

Our Registered manage Lyn Mataranyika. She is responsible for ensuring our home offers the highest quality of care to every resident and support to all their families. Reflective of the Leadership shown by Lyn, CQC said in its last report. Claire Waltho is responsible for all aspects of the administration function within the home.
Facilities

Residents are encouraged to bring any favourite furniture and ornaments with them to make them feel really at home. A further extension is planned for late 2020. The dignity, privacy, individuality and freedom of choices of residents is respected, as well as having an open door policy where friends and relatives are encouraged to visit.

Care providers are expected to meet Client and Regulator expectation regarding the integrity, availability, and accuracy of staff records including skills, knowledge, experience, and Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks. As such, the Care Home is committed to maintaining comprehensive personnel records detailing contracts of employment, reference, health information and other Human Resource (HR) information.

My great aunty Mary lived here for two years. She was treated with dignity, respect and love by the amazing staff who cared for her every day. During her final days, they were truly amazing and ensured that when her time came, she died surrounded by people who loved her. Can't praise the wonderful staff enough.
