At Phoenix Montessori Nursery School & Playgroup we aim to create a playful and creative learning environment that inspires children through the various activities and curriculum we offer. We observe children's language and interaction throughout the day, and encourage children to be involved in talking and expressing themselves through open discussion at "group time" and "story time".
EYFS, is short for Early Years Foundation Stage, is a series of guidelines on the learning and development of children up to five years old. The curriculum covers seven key areas of learning deemed essential for a child's early years development. Each term, your we cover skills in each of the seven areas.

My 15 month-old son started at Phoenix this January and he is really enjoying it so far! The staff are all lovely and supportive and helped him settle in really well. He’s already learned so much. The baby room is lovely and light with lots of toys and activities. I can tell the staff all really care for the children and I have no worries at all whilst he’s there. I’m really glad I chose Phoenix Nursery for him.

My daughter (almost 16 months) goes to Phoenix and she loves it. She’s been going for the past 6 months. Great teachers and “classmates”. They always work hard on ensuring that she’s met her developmental stages. She’s learned a lot. She can climb stairs, says quite a few words and sounds and is generally a happy kid.
Thanks Phoenix!

My son attended this nursery. We both loved it and he thrived here. Staff always had children at heart. Can't thank the team enough!
