The livery centre is located in the Thames Valley on a spellbound 400 acre farm in Royal Berkshire, 2 miles from Pangbourne village and within easy reach of Reading, Newbury, London, Oxford, Windsor and Bath. The period stable yard has a listed octagonal barn, large Victorian boxes, an enclosed mews courtyard plus other traditional buildings with interesting architecture.
The Modern stable complex is a fascinating new holmehold incorporating luxury stabling and client facilities, very pleasing to the eye and thought provoking. We are very pleased to welcome our new addition " ITHACUS " our Mechanical Horse, otherwise known as the Racewood Dressage Horse Riding Simulator.

Rang to enquire and book my Daughter in for her first horse riding experience with the hope we would find a riding school for her to attend on a weekly basis.
Gave them a quick call on Sunday and no one answered so I thought I would pop a quick email as they are most probably busy with tending to the horses... I immediately received a call back from an extremely rude older women abruptly asking me why I didn't bother to leave a message! What an appalling manor to speak to a potential customer, really expected a service that reflects the price they charge. I felt to end the conversation however

I bought my girlfriend a voucher for a riding lesson and champagne brunch, and we had the most wonderful time. We were 20 minutes late (missed the bus) and they were so relaxed about it - we still got our full two hours. And I (the complete beginner of the two) was given a really simple and not-scary lesson to the extent that I felt comfortable on the hack. I cannot recommend the riding school enough - and the breakfast afterwards was delicious! We ate in the main house and were made to feel completely at home.

Also went on experience and stayed at b&b.
Grubby b&b and breakfast not worth £5.
Day started 25 minutes late, got 35 minutes in the school learning the basics. After lesson was lead around fields then had lunch which was rubbery lasagne a couple of bits of salad and a tasteless chocolate cake.
After lunch was lead around the fields on the same route as before lunch - all that land and did not get to see much. Some of the staff were lovely but others were rude, uninterested and opinionated.
Slow walk on horses great for beginners but went with partner who could ride and they did a similar

It was booked via http://www.redletters.co.uk : "A day's horse riding for two".
The stables are near Reading at Pangbourne. The day starts at 11 am and finishes at 4.30 pm.
You start with 1 hour training in the arena where they teach you how to get the horse moving and then stop. You then learn how to trot.
After your lesson you go out on a walk in the countryside for an hour or so.
You come back and have lunch around a big table with all the other riders.
After lunch you have another hour horse riding in the countryside.
If you are a beginner there are leaders by the horse&apos
