Services
Tony & Linda moved to Shardeloes Farm in 1990. In main they were motivated by a desire to find off-road hacking after a serious accident on the roads with a pony which they owned at the time. Tony, a former World Champion Powerboat racer and Entrepreneur brought his blue-sky thinking and 'engineering' skills into play by turning his hand to farming and developing the site.
Here at Shardeloes we are committed to offering the very best in horse-care. We are passionately committed to ensuring our horses & ponies enjoy a fantastic quality of life. We have special policy in place whereby we aim to move our horses onwards and upwards at least every two years (where we see a need) in order that they avoid becoming stale and always have the security of a loving owner and home for life.
Come off at Junction 18 (Rickmansworth) and follow A404 (slow roads) to Chorleywood, through Little Chalfont and on to Amersham. Pass Amersham College on your left and take the second exit at the next roundabout, keep following signs to the A404 and head towards High Wycombe.
Following signs to Beaconsfield and then to Amersham, follow the A433 until you reach a big roundabout at the bottom of Gore Hill, turn left towards Wycombe and pick up the A404.Cherry Lane is about 3 miles long, the farm buildings are on the left and you will see the entrance signposted for Shardeloes Farm Equestrian Centre.

Our instructors are driven by their love of horses so do come and let them inspire you to connect with some of the earth's most beautiful animals.
We are delighted to be able to offer 500 acres of some of the best off-road hacking in the Chilterns, we love exploring the British countryside and regularly see awe-inspiring wildlife, flora and fauna, including rare species on occasions. We are a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) and have a BHS approved cross-country course to ensure your hacking experience is always safe and always fun!

Excellent facilities for both liveries and riding school clients. All staff are well trained and have got excellent procedures in place for covid-19 including disinfectant of the horses tack and hand sanitiser/ foot dips for instructors, grooms and clients (both after lessons and when entering and exiting the car park). There are also hand washing facilities on entrance and exit to the car park. All the staff on site and knowledgeable and offer a helping hand to everyone.

Outstanding facilities for the horses who are so well looked after. Outstanding facilities for riding With the indoor arena and outdoor arena all set in 500 acres . My 9 year old daughter Laila's weekly private lesson with Nancy is superb (she has made great progress since starting there), and is the highlight of her week. Nancy is a brilliant… teacher (what she doesn't know about riding ain't worth knowing), but if for any reason she isn't available Angela is also brilliant. There seems to be lots of people who can give lessons but these are the two we have had most.
