Services
The practice has been treating patients in Petts Wood for Chiropody and Podiatry needs since 1998 originally within three portacabins known as Adams House. In 2010 the old portacabins were replaced with a new building designed specifically to blend in with the community yet offer a state of the art facility to rival any multidisciplinary clinic nationally.
It is mandatory for Podiatrists to be registered with the Health & Care Professions Council and to undertake regular ongoing training and development in order to maintain the necessary skills to practice safely and effectively. Podiatry (and chiropody) involves the diagnosis, treatment and management of disorders that affect the foot, ankle and lower limb.
Observing, recording and analysing the way you walk (and run) provides our clinicians with a tremendous amount of information that can be interpreted in support of your particular foot or lower limb problem. Petts Wood Practice utilises the very latest treadmill together with hi-tech video analysis software to help avoid injury and to diagnose many types of foot related pain.
Nail surgery is a treatment option for recurring ingrown nails and painful toes that cannot be treated palliatively by either of the two treatments listed below. The procedure is known as nail wedge resection with germinal matrix phenolisation (sometimes referred to as partial nail avulsion) and offers patients a permanent treatment solution.
We have therapy rooms within Petts Wood Practice available to rent which would suit Sports Massage Therapy, Physiotherapy, Dentistry, Facial Aesthetics, Chiropractic, Podiatry, Acupuncture, Nutrition and Counselling. If you are starting up a business or looking to expand or move your existing established business to a modern bespoke clinical facility please get in touch on 01689 835400.

I went to see Martin about a toe nail fungal infection and a issue with the toe nail bed.
Hes professional, lovely guy, very knowledgeable and he has helped me out with the issue.
So if you have a toe or foot issue I strongly recommend visiting this clinic.
Its professional from as soon as you arrive, easy access by transport or car.
Thank you Martin. Ps one day we will have to get you on the drums hahahaha.

Martin was absolutely fantastic. Unfortunately for me, I had an ingrown toe nail on both sides of the toe which required a lot of care even after getting it cut out. That said, he has cut it out with ease and has relieved me from the pain pretty much instantly. Salty foot baths help relieve the pain but if its grown in then you need a podiatrist to cut it out for you asap or else it will never heal. Highly recommend this practice.

This practice is superb, I have suffered with a ingrown toenail for years and used a podiatrist which kept just clipping the nail back to relieve the pain, but never offering any permanent solution to the pain - seeking out Martin was the best thing I did and within the consultation I was offered options of minor surgery to relive this pain once and for all. A very simple 45 min pain free procedure and I can’t stress enough being pain free by Martin, job done. The aftercare is second to none and still no discomfort 1 week later
I can’t recommend this practice enough thank you Martin
