Not the cleanest or prettiest of shopping centres but it has all the high street shops in a safe pedestrianised area. It even has 2 Gregg's and a rival pound store bakery!
There is a market on some days also.
Has a big Primark and New Look and Wilkinsons and Poundland for all your storage needs.
Block paving so easy going for a wheelchair user.
Staff and people here are always friendly and chatty.
One downside is lack of public toilets, but can use Asda loos at one end or Tescos at the other if you need an accessible toilet.
The Asda loos are huge and have a winch and adult sized changing

The Saddlers Centre has still got some empty shops. At the moment, there are only 3 takeaway food shops next to the food court.
There is a good butchers there, and a few charity shops.
Be vigilant with your purse and money, as I know someone who had their purse stolen whilst in one of the charity shops earlier this year.
Of course, it was not the fault of the charity shop, but pickpockets are very likely to be in towns locally. Especially at this time of year.
Please make sure your money and important cards or belongings are in somewhere secure on your person, and don't leave bags unzipped

Lift been out of action for weeks no good for Disabled wheelchair users have to go all the way around up park street. Anyone with pushchairs the same. I have seen them risking the escalator with child in pushchair this is an accident waiting to happen. Come on get the lift sorted Saddlers centre getting worse just like the whole of Walsall. Angry Wheelchair Pusher/carer.

I have to say I'm very disappointed in the mind set of this center. yesterday I had a group of younger teenagers collecting for a large well known charity who had a street licence to collect. as everyone will remember yesterday there were strong winds and heavy rain.
2 of them were freezing cold and soaking wet so decided to stand just outside the… doors on park street for shelter. They did not enter the center. They were confronted by a security guard and told they couldn't stand there and had to move. They tried to explain that they were waiting for the rain and wind to stop but he insisted

When I was in there last, a security guard figured I was a shoplifter and put a call out on the radio about me. I'd been inside the centre for less than two minutes and only been in one shop. I left the centre immediately. If this is how they treat potential customers visiting the centre, I won't be going in again. Well done for driving away paying customers.
