We are now able to welcome you back into reception and into our consulting rooms with your pet during appointments. A maximum of 3 clients are permitted in reception at any time, with a two metre distance observed between clients. A one way system is in place which enables you to enter through the front door and out the back.
After consultation with your vet and upon exiting the back door, please proceed back around to the window at reception to collect any medication and settle your bill. With the ever-changing and unpredictable weather, fleas and ticks are bound to appear. Please ensure your pets are up-to-date on their parasite treatments to prevent any infestations.

Services
We are a well-established practice that has been a part of the community for more than 20 years. We have full hospitalisation and surgical facilites on-site. We are staffed by a friendly team of vets, led by Patrick Dooley who has been a part of the community for over 19 years. We have a team of dedicated nurses and receptionists who are always happy to help and offer advice.
Our range of services consists not only of veterinary examinations. We are happy to advise you on any questions you may have on the best practice of keeping, caring for and feeding animals. Make an appointment - we will be there for you. A range of equipment allowing same-day results within the hour for many blood, urine and skin tests.
If you would like to make an appointment or have questions or requests, please call us on 0208 460 7222. Please be aware we can only reply to emails within working hours; if you have an urgent question please call us (or outside of opening hours, you can call our emergency service). Access to our practice is via Pope Road and we have a car park located next to the practice.
If your pet is taken ill, we will administer rapid treatment, causing as little distress as possible. In many cases, regular check-ups can lead to detection and specific treatment of diseases in their early stages. Our vets can perform a wide range of soft tissue surgery. This bracket encompasses wound repairs, neutering and lump removals alongside more specific surgeries.
Adult dogs, cats and other companion pets require regular vaccination, parasite control and a balanced diet. Below are guidelines on preventative healthcare. If you have any other questions or queries, don't hesitate to ask! Once your dog has had their inital vaccination they require a yearly booster to protect them from disease.

Positive: Professionalism, Quality, Reliability, Value
Having been to a few vets, I feel so lucky to have found this practice. The care Patrick takes is second to none. Even when difficult decisions need to be made, there's never any rush and you know ultimately Patrick wants what's best for the animals. I can't recommend Bromley Common Vets highly enough.

Wonderful experience here after our cat injured himself. All of the vets here were so caring and calm. They kept us updated throughout, were clearly very knowledgeable and have been nothing but kind to us and our cat. They all seem to genuinely love the animals that they're looking after, which made a huge difference for us. I have total trust in them.

Absolutely AWFUL GREEDY vets that put money before pets. Unprofessional practice as a whole. Vet left stitches left in , misdiagnoses symptoms, very very rushed, list could go on. Main Receptionist constantly chasing people for money as well, seems all she cares about is £££!!! - not the pets. We moved our cat to another vets. They also charge over double of what medicines for pets are online from reputable sites. Please don't waste your money.

I rarely post a review but I felt I needed to do it.
As long as you don't ask for anything specific outside a normal appointment with the vet, it seems alright. Otherwise, the people at the reception become annoyed very quickly with the questions and don't listen to you.
I will not return to this clinic anymore because it doesn't make me feel comfortable to book an appointment with the vet for something already stressing happening to my animals... it just adds another layer that I don't need.

Great practice, very friendly and caring vets. Very impressed with the post surgery after-care. I was sent a text the next day to see how our dog was doing and asked to send a picture of the surgical site on day 4 to make sure it was all healing well.
A couple of the receptionists are very helpful and friendly :-)
