NOT happy at all as I was signed up to marketing WITHOUT my consent. I have reported this to the information commissioner's office. If you want to sell your property, without being pressured, or having the hard sell approach shoved your throat, of which I have an independent witness, just go the 'normal' way, and sell via an estate agent. I've used the independent online only agent Property Eagle on a number of occasions, with good success. It's cheaper than an auction, and leaves YOU, the seller in charge of all aspects. Fine for your bog standard properties I'm sure, but I found no sense of the potential draw of a truly unusual property. Had I gone with them I don't think I would have achieved anything near what my property actually sold for through a different auctioneer, the next day, with a far more personable and transparently explained service who truly understood the character and usp of the place I had.
I've learned that 'reach' is not everything and while Clive Emson are big, certainly the agents I saw just didn't get it, and subsequently didn't get me, which worked out greatly in my favour.
