Windibank was established in 1945 by Peter Frank Windibank who had a vision of offering a personal service, great expertise and a commitment that the company would be an active contributor to the local community. Following his death in 1986 the business was transferred to his son, Simon Windibank who has continued to follow his father's vision whilst adding technology to further enhance our service to customers both in the UK and internationally.

If you are considering selling something at our Auction we are happy to provide a verbal valuation free of charge. For smaller items, it is preferable for you to call into our office with the item.
For larger items (such as furniture or for large quantities of items) please email photographs to us (please submit your photographs using the box to the right), post photographs to us or, in some circumstances, the Auctioneer can arrange to visit you at home.If you wish the items to be valued before leaving them with us for sale, please contact the office to check the Auctioneer will be available when you bring them in.

P F Windibank Main Office is built into the front right hand corner of the Dorking Halls (on the main road next to the traffic lights). We have a warehouse and parking for customers in front of our warehouse at the rear of the Dorking Halls (if you telephone us when outside our warehouse we will come to you).

Excellent service (probate valuation)
After trying a couple of other firms who advertised a probate valuation but I think were more interested in house clearance, Windibanks was suggested.
So straightforward, Simon Windibank came round to value the house contents yesterday, did that very quickly and I received the valuation this morning which I will use on the probate application.
This service is very cost effective as it saved me hours of work online trying to work out the valuations - far better to leave to the expert.
