Historics offer a simple purchasing process as well as extremely competitive rates for the prospective buyer. If you then decide you wish to bid on the item, you will need to Register To Buy. These can be completed and submitted online here. Or you can download a form here and bring this along with you on the day of the sale, where it will be authorised by our Auction Office.
Entrance to all Historics Auctioneers classic and sports car auctions are by catalogue only. Each catalogue will admit two people for both the of the viewing days and the auction day, and will also admit you to either the Brooklands Motor Museum, Mercedes-Benz World or Ascot Racecourse (for whichever location said auction is being held at).
To discuss the sale of an item, please contact us by telephone with full details. You can also request a valuation online here. Our staff will then explore with you our forthcoming auctions, arrange appointments and discuss photography. A complimentary catalogue will then be sent to you which allows you entry to the sale.

We have been dealing with Stewart Banks at Historics for many years and he is a real asset to the team. When you think car auctions, you need to think Historics and Daniel Godin. Having dealt with Daniel and Historics on many occasions, I would never hesitate to recommend them. Their auctions are fun and welcoming affairs and Daniel has never failed to make sure I felt safe and looked after. Nothing is too much to ask of Daniel and he will do anything to get a deal done.

Having dealt with other auction houses and had some very unfavourable experiences. Historics certainly offer a breath of fresh air for anyone looking for a traditional auction experience. I've both bought and sold with them over the years. In fact they sold my very first car being a 70's cinquecento back in 2016. I've dealt with Matthew in the early years who is fastidiously organised and more recently with Dan. Overall a refreshing outfit which can be trusted.

I cant recommend Historics enough, They made the process from initial conversations to final auction seamless and kept me in involved at each step.
I certainly achieved a higher price than I would of done if I had tried privately, and the experience the team had showed on the auction day.

Nice people but they are just like some bad Estate Agents
Just like some estate agents, they recommend an unrealistically high value to lure you in and list the vehicle with them. I received an unexpected call from Historics asking if I would be willing to put my 25 year old car through their auction at Brooklands, as they had a car withdrawn at… the last moment. They told me that the valuation would be significantly higher than quoted to me some months earlier. A nice young man visited me that evening and having briefly looked at the car raised his valuation to a level that was acceptable
