TLDR satisfactory French cuisine. But not exactly authentic or creative.
I ordered a three course meal in a group of four. Service was decent.
The lamb kidney was fresh.
But the Bouillabaisse was disappointing as I couldn't taste the fish broth behind the thick and overwhelming spice. The rouille was not served separately so it was partially soaked.
The tarte tartin was good and it was the best among the three courses.
Overall at the price of 30 pounds this was satisfactory but not spectacular. A decent choice in Holborn but I would not go all the way to visit this restaurant

My partner and I visited on 15th January for an evening meal. We'd booked a table ahead of time based on previous reviews, and I'm so glad we did! The staff were lovely and attentive, making the experience very special. We were served warm bread and butter while we browsed the menu (always a lovely touch!) I had the steak and my partner had the salmon, both of which were gorgeous and we enjoyed every bite. No faults at all, we will be back whenever we're next in London. Thank you!

A brilliant, character-full corner-restaurant. The food is very tasty and the staff are friendly and obliging. The serving time was a little lengthy, but worth it for the fresh produce. The decorations are particular to the establishment, and the ground-floor ceiling is an interesting take on a quotation wall. The only thing stopping this being give stars is the price, which was a little higher than I'd have liked, but still probably suitable for central London.
Overall a great place to go for a tasty meal in a friendly environment, if you don't mind Central London prices.

While looking for an alternative to pub and the many Indian and Turkish places around (had to appease my picky kids) we settled on Savoie Faire based on reviews. This turn out great for us. They serve unfussy classic French food at reasonable prices. My children both enjoyed their take on steak frites. I had patè and Boeuf Bourgogne. Both were executed the way the should be. Wine list was well priced. Service was excellent, friendly, and informal - just the way it should be. Our family of 5 had a great meal and would come back again.

Food was good and service was friendly. Overcharged on an item on the bill but server was apologetic and solved the issue when we brought it up.
Our main complaint was with the restaraunt refusing to work with us on an unfortunate ATM fee.
The credit card scanner was malfunctioning that day and we were told to run to the nearby atm, which charged us 10 extra pounds to withdraw cash for the 90 pound bill. The restaraunt refused to reimburse or split that fee despite it being mostly their fault with their card scanner malfunctioning. The server claimed he was unable to give us any discount, that

French here. It does not match the price. Overall it was ok but first fries were not homemade, the crème brulé was cold as it was just getting out of the fridge and the mussels should be an entrance rather than a main course. The duck was good but overall it was too expensive for what you get. However, place has decoration, staff is really friendly. You listen to French music but it is the same playlist...I would not recommend it.

Don't think you can go there if you love french cuisine, even if there is few good dishes about that, it's not a big deal.
The service is quite disastrous, they looks stressed ouf, maybe they were new but it was quite disturbing to see. It seems like I've had to excuse myself to beg for water.
I should had that my dish was just fine, not above, we can guess that chips was frozen, which is bad when you try to taste a bit or France in London.
My mother had so much pleasure with some purée, but I don't have a good image of that place.
I won't go back I think, but if you

Absolutely spectacular food! We ate here almost every night during our visit to London in early March 2020. The food was that delicious and the environment that welcoming! I think we ended up trying just about everything on the menu and it was all phenomenal. Don't be put off by the "French" food--there is something for everyone. I was especially crazy about the goat cheese and tomato appetizer and the salmon. Oh the salmon! Wonderful service, pleasant atmosphere, fantastic location--we loved everything about Savoir Faire! Thanks for taking such good care of us!

I was traveling for work and my coworkers and I were desperate to find something with an open kitchen at 9 pm on a Friday. Somehow we stumbled upon this restaurant on yelp and decided to check it out. It was AMAZING. The atmosphere was neat with a lot of funny sayings. You had the choice of ordering a lighter meal or doing their two course meal. We all chose the two course meal which started off with fresh bread and an olive oil with herb dipping sauce. The bread was incredibly soft. Next, I had the mussels which were in a neat little dish that you just had to use a spoon to scoop out each mussels

Love this little restaurant!
We got the onion soup and the broccoli soup. I liked the onion soup a lot, especially the bread on top. The baguette served agh the beginning was warm and tasty!
The main was good too. I got the fish and my friends got steak and the duck leg. All were standard and yummy. The fish was tender and I enjoyed the potatoes a lot! It got good seasoning.
Overall a really good restaurant with good service, food and atmosphere!

Table of 5 pre-booked for a Saturday evening, seated comfortably downstairs. Service was friendly and efficient, and all of our party had no complaints. Menu lamb dishes sadly had sold out, but were promptly substituted with lamb chops, which three of the party greatly enjoyed.
My choice of the Rilllettes as a starter followed by the medieval pork, and Crème brûlée were more than satisfactory. Good choice of well priced wines.
Ambiance was pleasant, tables well spaced so parties could converse comfortably.

My girlfriend and I came here for a quick dinner before a show. It's puzzling to read all these rave reviews, which almost makes me wonder if we even dined at the same restaurant.
I ordered the pre-theatre 2 course dinner with chicken liver pate (starter) and lamb moussaka with salad (main). The pate was good (3.5 stars) but the lamb moussaka was just ok (3 stars). For the price (£15.90), it wasn't bad, but I just don't see why I want to come back here. My girlfriend ordered the special 2 course dinner (£25.90) with traditional beef bourguignon. What a treat! We ducked in out of the rain and found a table - our good luck. The service, the food (bouillabaisse x 2, bread, salad, wine, coffees), and the setting were wonderful, it's a very charming place.
Other choices include a veg prix fixe menu and assorted food for carnivores. Good value, a great meal.

I travel to London fairly often for work so I am usually out dining alone. The food was fantastic and the service was pretty good. I had two lovely ladies waiting on me, however, I asked the less experienced waitress for a wine recommendation and she had no idea what to say, so I ended up with a bottle of house wine, which was perfectly fine, but I would have loved a recommendation on a proper french wine as I'm always looking to broaden my palate and learn more about wine in general.
Still, a wonderful experience overall, highly recommend it!

We headed here after spending an afternoon at the museum. We were slightly early for our booking, but were seated immediately, while waiting for our friend to arrive.
Service was lovely. They only had 2 meal menus, but since we were hungry, they allowed us to order extra starters.
The food was excellent. From starters to desserts - pate, lamb kidneys, the sea bass, lamb and duck - each one perfectly cooked. And some of the best French fries that I've eaten in a very long time.
They had some excellent wines and the whisky cheesecake was outstanding!
Wish I had found this place before my

Maybe I was just unlucky, ordering the wrong dish... I couldn't eat more than half - it tasted weird. The bread had little gnats flying on it too and was too hard, like it'd been cut up hours before.
I like the ambience of the place though, and the waitress, though she seemed stressed. I hope she gets a vacation or something good soon.

My friend and I had a late lunch here around 2:30 pm on a beautiful Sunday afternoon. We came from the British Museum, which was just a short walk away. It was fairly empty at the time, so we had our pick of indoor and outdoor seating; we picked a small table inside, right by a window, and got a nice view of the street and nearby buildings. There was also plenty of seating, as well as toilets, downstairs, although no one was sitting downstairs because it was so sunny outside (the downstairs area was quite dark but would probably be cozy in the evenings). We were greeted promptly by our server.

This is an amazingly affordable French restaurant with a set menu which include (joy!) a good selection of vegetarian options. The interior is cosy (but there is a downstairs eating area in the basement as well) and slightly 'shabby-chic' (which extends to the cutlery and glassware as well).
The main event is the food: the two course menu is £24, but there is a cheaper vegetarian menu as well. Desserts are £5.90. For the price, in this area of London, it represents fabulous value, as the quality is very good, mostly in the classic French style.

Great French food and great prices. The server was very nice and knowledgeable about the food and the atmosphere was romantic. Perfect dinner for our last night in London. The foe grass was fabulous, cooked perfectly, every ingredient on the plate made sense. We had wild mushrooms with fresh goat cheese, pork belly, beef bourgeoning and bread pudding toffee, perfect way to end a perfect meal.
I am definitely recommending this restaurant to anyone that visits or lives in London.
