Dees Day Nursery
At dees day nursery (west wimbledon) our vision is to deliver a positive experience to our children through a learning and development programme. We specialise in giving individual care and attention in an unrivalled environment. We are intent on promoting independence through a nursery experience that will make a significant difference to your child's future development.

The formative years of your child's life are key to their ongoing educational, physical, and social development. It is of the utmost importance to us to give them the best possible beginning. By providing a safe, supportive, stimulating and fun environment to explore and discover the world, we help children to grow and express themselves to their full potential.
Services
For over seven years now we've been giving young children boundless opportunities to learn through imagination, creativity and play, while offering parents peace of mind that comes from knowing their children couldn't be better cared for. To provide a warm, friendly, happy environment where each child is encouraged to reach their full potential through praise, sensitivity and mutual respect.
Research has shown that children learn more in the first five years of their lives than at any other time, and that young children learn through play. Our first and prime aim is to nurture happy, confident children who are interested in all they see, hear and do and who have enquiring minds. We aim to educate, but also to make sure that everyone has plenty of fun at the same time!
Our nursery is clean, friendly, modern and spacious with outside areas for children to play. We provide a safe, loving and learning environment for children. We are professional; child focused and offer value for money. We work in partnership with parents, so that you feel part of your child's daily activities and development.
When you place your child in our nursery, you are placing your trust in us and our staff. Our staffs are selected very carefully, on the basis of their qualifications, experience and ability to interact with young children. When you are choosing a nursery, you will want to be sure that you are leaving your child with people who have the right qualifications and experience, and who will be able to make your child feel secure and happy.
We work closely with you to ensure that, from the moment your child joins one of our nurseries, we establish the best foundation for his or her future. Parents are the most important people in a child's life. They are the child's first teachers; they know more about their child than any teacher can ever know, and have watched and cared for their child from the first day of his or her life.

Positive: Quality
Our daughter started at Dee's at 11 months and she is so happy there. The staff did a great job settling her in - she's happy to see them when we get there in the morning and she's in a good mood when I pick her up at the end of the day. They have also been wonderful about our wish to use cloth nappies.

We have not been asked to write this review, doing so spontaneously after 2+years of our son going to Dees. Our three year old has been going to Dees since he was one. We area really happy with the nursery. We did have the choice to go to other nurseries but had no reason to do so. Dees has many strengths but the key one for us is the personal, intimate set up. Its not a really big nursery and so all the children know each other and know the staff. The staff also make it a more personalised and intimate, secure experience for our son.
I suspect every child has ups and downs going to nursery. Ours

Our toddler has been at Dees since he was one and we’ve been really impressed from the outset with the caring, nurturing environment there. All the staff are great and so helpful they really value each child as an individual. Definitely worth a look for a smaller, very friendly nursery (and very handy for the station! 😊)

Our son has been in Dees Day since May 2018 when he was 1.5 yo. We love its cosy family like environment and they have taught him many things. Among so many good things, I think the biggest benefit is this is a small nursery with no more than 6 kids in one group each day and everyone knows each other and so can step in whenever needed. Therefore every kid gets so much attention and there is no need for still attention seeking behaviours such as hitting and shouting, which seems common for other kids we know who are in big groups. We feel lucky we found here after spending the first 2 months in
