If you are struggling to overcome painful problems or you simply want to develop your potential and live a fuller life, it can be helpful to have a caring, knowledgeable and skillful person to talk to. That is what I offer. I will make sure you feel seen, heard and appreciated as a unique individual in all of your richness and complexity.

While I will help you understand the nature and origins of your problems, I will also help you see and use all of your strengths and talents toward making the life you want. Psychotherapy and life coaching do have some things in common, but they are different in their emphasis and the methods they use.
Services
Do you need help with an addiction? We can be addicted to many things, such as, alcohol; drugs, cigarettes, gambling, food, sex, and the computer/internet to name a few. Addictions are often present with other mental health issues, such as depression or anxiety, and can be a way to 'self-medicate'.
Do you need help with anxiety? While fear is a feeling we have about an immediate perceived danger, anxiety is usually a fear about the future. This may be related to something temporary and specific, like a job interview, or it can be generalized and seem to be about nothing in particular, just a general ongoing feeling of dread.
Do you need help with an bereavement or grief? The ensuing feelings can be very painful. And this on top of all of the things we then must do in order to adapt to our world now that it is different. We may feel deep grief and sadness, anger, shock, confusion, numbness, despair, or loss of faith. Without empathy, patience and support or encouragement to move through our feelings, grief can turn into depression or some form of addiction.
Approximately one person in six experiences depression of some kind in the course of their lifetime and one in 20 experiences clinical depression. At any one time, about one in 10 people will have some symptoms of depression. Do you need help with depression? Depression can come in various degrees of intensity, the most severe referred to as major depressive disorder.
We all want to have high self-esteem and feel confident in ourselves, but sometimes we are instead filled with self-doubt and fear. When we have strong self-esteem and confidence we are willing to take risks, to try new things, to talk to people, and launch projects with optimism. When we lack confidence all of these things can seem very difficult if not impossible.

Helped me a great deal with body dysmorphophobia over a prolonged period of time. Also aided in tolerating and seeing the meaning in difficult (but unavoidable) situations.
I would recommend.
