I joined Studio Twenty3 after seeing an advert on Facebook challenging people to 'lose their lockdown bods'! Like lots of people I put on weight during the pandemic and was fed up of my clothes not fitting, my waistbands feeling permanently tight and feeling generally wobbly and unfit. I'm quite a reluctant gym goer and decided to sign up because I knew it would be good for me, not because I enjoy exercise and because I knew I probably couldn't achieve the results I wanted without some help. I've been attending Studio since April 21 to improve both my mental and physical health. Gareth has a great team and the friendly personal nature of the studio encourages me to come back each week. Hannah is very supportive doth during our PT sessions and with checking in to check progress and wellbeing.

I would highly recommend Studio Twenty3 to anyone. It doesn't matter where you're from or what previous background you have had, you can come here and learn all you need to know about becoming a personal trainer. They focus both on individual feedback and group feedback and the group 'vibe' is always lovely. You can be yourself in a great focused yet comfortable environment. Gareth and the Studio Twenty 3 team have trained me in the past but due to relocation I have missed the gym experience. The lockdown brought with it confusion and an anxiety of missing exercise, on top of that I had found out I was pregnant with my second child. A great personal training studio - not intimidating as some gyms can be! Gareth was welcoming and gave good advice on my initial appointment. From there I had weekly PT sessions with Jimmy, initially in the studio and then via Zoom during lockdown. Jimmy is friendly, professional and encouraging - I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this studio.

I used the services of studio twenty3 from Nov 2019 -March 2020 when I unfortunately had to stop through lockdown. I found the team here to be thoroughly professional and as a lady going into a gym was slightly nervous but Gareth , Aidy and the entire team were so welcoming they put me totally at ease.
Aidy was a great 1on1 trainer and listened to my areas of concern and worked me hard but within my limits.
Had it not been for the challenges of 2020 I would still be going and I cannot recommend the team here highly enough.

Gareth at Studio Twenty 3 and the team are fantastic. I have trained with them a few times in the past and due to moving area had to stop. However, I have followed his instagram account as he provides helpful, practical tips from a researched based back ground and also those bits of exercise motivation we all need once in a while. When the lockdown happened I went from playing a lot of team sport to almost no exercise and lost most of my motivation to keep fit. I started at Studio Twenty3 in September 2019 after encouragement from my husband as I was not feeling great about myself. I typically have not liked a gym environment because I felt uncomfortable but pushed past my insecurities and went for a trial session and loved it!
Since that point I have lost nearly 6kg, increased my strength (I can now squat with weight rather than struggle with just body weight), increased my confidence, improved my diet and eating habits and ultimately had fun in the process.

The team at Studio Twenty 3 have been fantastic in helping to improve and support my fitness journey. They are very knowledgeable and really push you to work hard but in a friendly and fun way! I was anxious about doing 'weights' and whether I'd be able to lift weights etc. But they really empower you and make you surprised at what you can achieve! I have got fitter, stronger, more toned and feel healthier and more energised thanks to their help!

I've been training at Studio Twenty 3 with Gareth and the team for almost a year now and the changes I've seen have been unbelievable! I've lost 24kg (nearly 4 stone) and dropped 3 dress sizes but more importantly I feel so much stronger, fitter and with more energy. I started with just personal training sessions and have increased this to include 2 x small group training sessions a week too as I can't get enough of these great HIIT classes.
