Oakmere Children's Nursery is a well established, purpose built, day nursery and pre-school based at Blakemere Village, Northwich, Cheshire. Our aim is simple - to provide the best, high quality childcare in the area which is confirmed by Ofsted having awarded us 'Outstanding in All Areas' in all of our inspections.

Services
We work in partnership with other organisations in the community to ensure many varied experiences for our children. We work closely with the Local Authority who provide some of our training and assess our provision. Blakemere Village is set in the heart of the beautiful Cheshire countryside.
The Village is a combination of shops and attractions including an Antiques Centre, Aquatic and Falconry Centre, children's play area, Playbarn, cafe, restaurant and conference centre and much more.The main complex is set in an Edwardian stable block with cobbled courtyard surrounded by mature woodland.

Fees include all snacks, meals, nappies and wipes required during your child's stay in Nursery. When your child is in receipt of a funded place in Pre-School you will be asked to provide your own nappies/pullups and there will be a charge of 3 per meal on funded sessions, you may provide your own meals if you prefer (subject to conditions).
We rigorously adhere to hygiene procedures to prevent the spread of any infections. We wear protective clothing when cleaning up spills of bodily fluids and changing nappies. All surfaces and equipment are cleaned using disinfectant sprays. We use disinfectant hand gel at all times. In order to prevent the spread of infection no children who are ill/infectious are accepted into Nursery.
We plan broad and balanced experiences based on the learning objectives in the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework. We give children opportunities to develop their skills, knowledge and potential in a secure and encouraging environment both in and outdoors. As an aide to effective communication with our Parents/Carers your child's Key Worker will give you feedback on your child's day.
Our 0-1 Year Room is spacious and equipped with a separate sleeping area with baby monitors keeping a close check at sleep times. We have stimulating resources for playtimes to encourage your baby's sensory development and interaction with others. There is a separate area for 'wet/messy' play. Babies enjoy fresh air and the great outdoors in our secure outdoor area and during pushchair walks around the Village and the surrounding woods.

Oakmere is a fantastic nursery in a wonderful setting, the staff are highly professional, flexible and above all else super friendly and welcoming to our family. Our youngest loves going and despite the difficult times with CV19 she couldn't wait to go back. She frequently talks about the staff and children most days and loves to tell us what she… has been up to (and eaten). The setting is a real benefit to the children with access to woodlands, park and other activities based at the craft centre. The nursery has been a really positive experience for our children and we would highly recommend

My son has been at oakmere since August and has come on leaps and bounds since starting, known well for being unsure of new people, the girls have been amazing in helping him settle in. The menu is always varied, I love to look back through his daily diary to see what he’s been playing with and doing - plus the crafts they bring home are fantastic! Couldn’t recommend more!

Leaving your child in the care of others can be stressful but Oakmere give such excellent experiences and such care to their children they take all the stress away. Our daughter has been with them since 10 months old and every room has been a good experience. We are now approaching the end of her pre school education, I can't praise Oakmere enough for their part in her development. A truly outstanding establishment.

This nursery is amazing and I couldn't recommend it highly enough. My eldest daughter is due to 'graduate' in a couple of months and I did not hesitate to sign up my youngest daughter when I began to make preparations to return to work. I love hearing about what they've done, what they've played with, what they've eaten. The variety of stimulation… and care they get is absolutely first class. So thank you Oakmere for being such an important part of my daughters development and I look forward to making the same journey through the rooms with my littlest! X

Fantastic nursery ... eldest happily attended from 9 months right through to pre-school and youngest is currently enjoying time in year 1-2 room. Both my girls have benefited from friendly, caring and loving staff who are focussed on development through fun, play and learning. They are a credit to a very well managed facility. Comes highly recommended!
