The Veterinary Profession has been through a very difficult period and is currently experiencing a national shortage of Veterinary Surgeons. Like many practices nationwide, we are currently running on low staffing levels and whilst we are doing everything in our power to continue to provide the service our clients expect, we will be having some day closures of our branches.
We'd like to thank all the staff at Friars Lane for their consistently kind and thoughtful treatment of our dog and for their consideration and kindness. Many thanks to you all. The staff are very nice, the vet we saw gave us plenty of advice for both of our dogs. I have booked our little dog in for her neutering in the summer and am confident she will be well looked after at Lincvet.

We are pleased to welcome you and your pet to Lincvet. Our aim is to provide the best possible health care and treatment for companion animals in a friendly, supportive environment. We are as keen to prevent disease as we are to treat problems when they occur. We specialise in pet animals and are also a member of the the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons Practice Standards Scheme.
It is our policy to constantly improve our facilities and the standards of care available for your pets. All veterinary surgeons and nurses attend regular courses to increase their knowledge and keep themselves up to date with the most modern developments. The practice has a well-equipped laboratory that is able to give rapid, accurate results at all times of the day and night.
Friars Lane - situated in the centre of Lincoln. Friars Lane is our main centre, it houses our main facilities for surgery, diagnosis and in-patient care. We use digital radiography, advanced ultrasound and IDEXX laboratory diagnostic equipment, to provide a comprehensive in-house service. Friars Lane has some free car parking on site and is able to offer appointments throughout the day.

The Birchwood surgery is open five days a week for appointments in the morning and throughout the afternoon. It also has the benefit of a large, free car park. Urgent cases will always be seen at any time, but it would assist us greatly if you could telephone us before arriving. The Birchwood Surgery is situated in the Birchwood Neighbourhood Shopping Centre off Birchwood Avenue.

Very poor ethics and decision making. Money over care.
I have affordability and would pay what ever it takes for treatment of my dog but this practice for years has always overcharged.
Today though my review is based on a situation that was not caring at all. We found and injured pigeon that we managed to care for over a few days (weekend) this bird was in good health generally however had an injured wing. We took it to these people and made it clear that could it not be fixed We would still give the bird a go at life and would take care of him. We explicitly said we would look into rehabilitation
